Fridge Brilliance
- The title is an allusion to the song "Every Little Thing She Does (Is Magic)". The show's own title is that Friendship is Magic, and the episode is about Starlight learning that it's doing the little things that help build a solid friendship.
- One might wonder why Starlight has social anxiety about bonding with the Mane Six now, when she did most of the same activities with them during the Good-Times Montage at the end of "The Cutie Re-Mark Part 2". It's because she was just doing them casually back then, but now she's under additional pressure to impress Twilight, and that's what's making her anxious, especially since some of her dialogue near the end implies she thought the idea was to just complete the tasks, when in reality the idea was bond with the Mane 6 by doing them regardless of how good or bad she was. Note that when she's just helping them all to make amends and not even realizing that she's technically completing the lessons, she does much better.
