The injury on Mr. Cat's forehead in his driver's license photo is in the exact same place as the bandage he had when he left home in the expository comics.
If you look at Mr. Cat's license, it also mentions that Mr. Cat is authorized to own weapons. Somebody authorized a sociopathic preteen to own weapons.
This also raises questions as to how he obtains alcohol and tobacco. If he's authorized to own weapons and drive a car at that age, it's possible he might be legally obtaining harmful substances.
Mr. Cat's driver's license photo shows what appears to be a bruise on his forehead. The photo was taken when Mr. Cat was much younger, so it may very well be from the Cat family's horrific abuse.
