As a Fridge subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

Fridge Brilliance

  • Mrs. Blankenship being Michael's babysitter back in 1963 makes the entire opening of the original film make sense—why the POV is of Michael approaching the Myers house (he's returning from Mrs. Blankenship's), his murdering Judith, and the dazed expression on his face when his parents remove his mask, as though he doesn't understand his own actions. Mrs. Blankenship is a member of the Cult and probably put the curse on him that very night and sent him to commit his first murder.

Fridge Horror

  • The father of Jamie's baby. Even if it wasn't Michael, she was still subjected to rape while only in her mid-teens, possibly even younger.
  • Speaking of Jamie, just the fact that she got kidnapped on the same night she lost both Rachel her adopted sister who saved her life multiple times, and Tina her best friend who always made her smile meant that she couldn't even mourn those two in peace and that the nightmare she faced on Halloween 1989 was just the beginning of her horror. Break the Cutie went into overdrive.
  • In the theatrical cut, Michael survives getting injected with acid and beaten multiple times with a heavy pipe, just how powerful is he at this point and what have his consistent injuries done to his body?
