Fridge / Final Fantasy Legend III

Go To

  • Fridge Brilliance: The villains frequently mistake the main character for his father Jupiah, whom they presumably killed. The reason it never occurs to them that it's the son they're dealing with is because they dealt with Jupiah before he had children.
    • They also use the "lack of the word 'the' when describing an object" on the Talon a lot. The Talon2 is actually controlled by Jupiah's brain - so in a way it is a person
  • Early on, the elder tells our heroes to be careful because others were searching for the Talon units. It's easy to conclude the elder means the monsters in the past and present who are after the Talon units. But one of the first things you do in the past is to meet an old man, tell him you're looking for Talon units, and help him out by telling him a good location for a town. As it's mentioned by HC Bailly, the elder's actually talking about you.

  • Fridge Horror: Wait, as we know Jupiah's in Talon2. So.... knowing this... ...was Talon1 also controlled by someone? And if so... who's in the original Talon?
