• Varys' name given at birth, last uttered by his dying sister, is Viserys. The significance of using this particular name is to add other layer to the setup between Jon Snow and Aegon Targaryen. Both the boy who is king but doesn't know it and the other who thinks he is but in truth is not have uncles named Viserys. But where Jon’s uncle was cruel, stupid, and would have wanted him dead if he had any clue Jon existed, Varys is remorseful, cunning, and everything he does is meant to put Aegon on the throne.
