- In Kai's past, he was ignored by everybody else, which is why he even became a horror actor in the first place. Later on, it states that he killed his co-star by accidentally hitting her head and bumping her into water. Kai searched for her, with no luck. So what does Monokuma do in his execution? He surrounds him with the people he cares about, who completely ignore him, and then bump him into a pool, causing him to drown!
