• A bit of Fridge Logic and Brilliance here: The British shop Marks & Spencer were named after Jewish shopkeepers. Could that make Marcius and Spencius Jewish as well? That would also explain the behaviour change of Marcius when Marc Antony suggests a larger payment over a couple of slaves that he wants for himself.
