• The first two BDK videos posted to YouTube had their titles spelled out seemingly in Japanese Ranguage ("urutoramantisu burakku" and "neo soraa tempura"), even though the mastermind of the BDK would later turn out to be Ares, who was Swiss. However, although the person speaking in the video was clearly Caucasian, the voice was so impossibly distorted that it was impossible to identify him from it.
• In hindsight, Hallowicked and Frightmare's Tecnico-Rudo turns at the 2014 Season Finale Tomorrow Never Dies should have been seen coming a mile away. The fact that Wicked, who has been in CHIKARA since Day One, was not booked for a match on such a big event should have been a sign. Crossed with The Producer Thinks of Everything: The cover art for the Aniversario: Never Compromise DVD had various CHIKARA wrestlers tied to crosses. Hallowicked was shown with a red and white design, as opposed to the orange and black or green and black masks he wore at the time, which should have been taken as a sign of things to come. Quack leaves the trail of crumbs, it's up to us to follow them.
• The match between UltraMantis Black and Mr. Azerbaijan at For British Eyes Only, April 3, 2015, featured a spot where Azerbaijan injured his butt and Mantis actually worked on it over the course of the match. On the surface, this may seem like a parody of Wrestling Psychology. However, since Mr. Azerbaijan was supposed to be the Billy Gunn Expy of the D-Generation X-inspired Bloc Party, one of Gunn's Red Barons was "Mr. Ass" and people called Azerbaijan "Mr. Az"...
