Fridge / Amagi Brilliant Park

Fridge Brilliance:

  • In episode 3, Seiya notices that Moffle's area is well maintained and that he takes his job seriously. At first it just makes Moffle look like a Consummate Professional, but then you learn that Latifa is his niece and the park's purpose is to keep her alive, so of course he'd give it a 110%!
  • At the end of the series the cast have managed to collect so much Animus that they are able to break Latifa's curse, but the thing is, for most of the series Seiya wasn't even aware of the curse. He looks at the goal in numbers alone, that's why he was willing to have the park shoulder the immense cost of hosting a soccer game just so the visitors use the main gate, because it would get them to 500,000. From how the series explains it, Animus is defined by how happy they make the people around them, just being in the park shouldn't be enough to gather what the cast needs to survive. So how did they break the curse? It wasn't the quantity of the Animus they collected, but the quality, everyone worked hard to make sure that all visitors were happy, harder than they had since the park first opened.

Fridge Horror:

  • The matter of Takaya Kurusu's goal pre-series, upon closer inspection. In return for saving the country, he wants to marry the princess... who at the time was still 14-years-old, princess or not. And when he was denied marrying her, even though he was rightfully mad, he chooses not to take revenge on the king for renegading on the promise but instead curses Latifa out of misplaced spite. It begs the question of what he wanted with her specifically, yet given his comments in the present day about how he's "looking forward" to the despair Kanie and the others will feel, when the curse makes her forget them all... if he had gotten Latifa, it likely wouldn't have ended well at all.

Fridge Logic:

  • The Asshole Victim family incident in episode 3. Though their memories were erased, and the video uploaded by Seiya makes Moffle look like he was just defending himself rather than instigating the incident, what about the other people who witnessed the incident? It's not likely Isuzu wiped all of their memories out, since she said those bullets are hard to come by. And what if the family later discovers the video online?
    • It's possible that they decided that they could afford that risk, since their business was still small at the time.
