- Gavin's coworkers always say that Gavin is actually more intelligent than he appears in the videos. An example easily found is the Super Mario Bros. Portal videos, particularly part 2 and 3. In them, Gavin tells everyone what to do and is the first to work out the solution to almost every puzzle.
- The only reason it takes so long to finish each level is because everyone else (and Gavin) keep misfiring portals.
