''Final Faction'' is a toy line & animated series produced by retailer Dollar Tree as an in-house brand debuting in 2020. The main selling point is that every item in the line, be it the main figures, accessory packs or vehicles, retails for $1 each.

In the far future of 2050, a meteor strikes Earth's moon, revealing an alien space vessel with a hibernating colony that has awoken- the Kharn. In need of resources they see fit to attack Earth to take whatever they need and have no issues with threatening the population as they are in no mood to ask. The Final Faction team is organized to fight the Kharn when they attempt to steal resources. The first episode can be seen here. The second episode here.

Final Faction contains examples of the following:

  • Action Girl: Shift, trained from youth to be a soldier. She also has a "second sight", a minor telepathic ability to not only see a few seconds into the future but to also see important events that may be out of normal sight.
  • Ambiguously Brown: Team leader Steadfast has a hint of brown in his skin tone. His bio only says he's from the United States.
  • Aliens Are Bastards: The Kharn see Earth as a pile of resources to take and humans as an obstacle. Two of them take joy in abducting a family of polar bears while stealing ice from Antarctica to replenish their water supply.
  • Aliens Speaking English: The Kharn have only spoken this, both to humans and to each other.
  • Animal Mecha: Churro wears one which has both a powerful bite and a sonic "bark" attack that can knock opponents away.
  • Bloodless Carnage: Despite bullets often shown hitting the Kharn, they never leave holes or show any blood. They merely fall over.
  • Cannon Fodder: Most of the Kharn drones and synthoids prove to be this. Only two brutes have been given character status- the two that survived the first episode.
  • Cannot Tell a Joke: Ruck thinks his own jokes are hilarious. No one else on the team can stand them.
  • Code Name: The Final Faction team are mostly known by these, the exception being Boyd(assuming that's his real name and not a code phrase)
  • Cyborg: Steadfast lost his left arm and left eye in the first Kharn invasion, also leaving his face badly scarred.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Several characters have appeared in both episodes that have yet to see their action figures released. The pandemic slowed production on the toys, with the second series expected in the end of 2021.
  • For the Evulz: The Kharn are not above taking great joy in any pain they can cause while stealing whatever they want.
  • Gory Discretion Shot: Shift cleaves a Kharn in half with her swords in the first episode, though the camera cuts away to only imply what happened.
  • The Kid with the Remote Control: the ACRM robot is remote piloted by Boyd, a 15-year old paraplegic. The tam only has one of these drones as it's new technology.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: Shift prefers to use two large swords, compared to the team preferring ballistic weaponry.
  • Merchandise-Driven: It started as a toy line first with the web animations meant to help sell it.
  • More Dakka: The team uses machine guns, sniper rifles, grenade cannons, a remotely-driven mech suit, you name it.
  • One-Gender Race: The Kharn have so far at least appeared to all be male(albeit not specified) and use cloning to populate their armies. A queen has been mentioned, however.
  • Planet Looters: The Kharn only care about what needed survival resources they can take, humans be damned.
  • Puny Earthlings: The Kharn have advanced biotech, some of which is part of their bodies.
  • Sibling Team: Shift and Scope
  • Team Pet: Churro, the team's pet dog, has his own powered mech suit.
  • 20 Minutes into the Future: It is set only 30 years after the toys were released, though we have so far seen little of Earth's development.
