Eternals is a Marvel Comics franchise, based on the 1970s comic book series created by Jack Kirby. Eternals are artificial beings created by the space gods known as Celestials, primarily to help them with their experiments on Earth and other worlds.

Earth's Eternals are mostly human in form, but immortal, physically stronger, faster, and more durable than humans. They have a variety of other superhuman powers (such as flight, energy projection, and matter manipulation).

As well as the Eternals themselves, the Celestial experiments created their ancient enemies, the Deviants. Whereas Eternals are ageless, powerful, and almost godlike, Deviants are a short-lived people, monstrous in appearance. Genetically unstable, no two have the same form. And whereas there are only a small number of Eternals, the Deviants have thrived and multiplied.

The Eternals are seemingly the good guys, while the Deviants are the bad guys. The Eternals have been fighting the Deviants for centuries, and the war is still ongoing. But it's not quite that simple...

The Eternals have made appearances in a number of Marvel Comics titles and other media:
