The game's plot centers on Cuphead and Mugman, two drinkware-headed brothers who have a penchant for getting themselves into trouble. The pair end up getting the raw end of a Deal with the Devil and must contend with several other unusual characters (as well as their even more surreal transformations) to get out of it.

. The show details the continuing (mis-)adventures of Cuphead and Mugman and their friends in Inkwell Isle. The Moldenhauer brothers serve as executive producers, and it stars Tru Valentino as Cuphead, Frank Todaro as Mugman, Wayne Brady as King Dice, and Grey Griffin as Ms. Chalice. The show was released on February 18th.
Other appearances:
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: A Cuphead costume for Mii Gunners was released as DLC on January 28th, 2020. Buying it also adds the song "Floral Fury" to the game. Later, four Spirits — Cuphead, Mugman, the Devil, and King Dice — were added to Spirit Board, with minor differences to their corresponding battles if the player owns the aforementioned costume.
