The Disney franchise centered around their 1991 animated adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, which was their first property to have EGOTed and—to date—the only one to have done so with a Primetime Emmy.

- Once Upon a Time (2011-2018), in which Belle and the Beast, who in this continuity is Rumplestiltskin, are major characters. Other characters and elements of the franchise are referenced or appear in smaller roles, such as Gaston and the Enchanted Rose.
