    A Tale of Magic
  • Madame Weatherberry’s full name is Celeste Weatherberrynote ...”Celeste” is taken from “celestial” which means relating to the sky, and Weatherberry literally has “weather” in it.
  • In the prologue, a storm appears when Madame Weatherberry and her students do and disappears with them.
  • Champion pushing Madame Weatherberry’s Berserk Button completely changed her demeanor, which she returned to as quickly as she left it. Turns out, her Split Personality the Snow Queen took over.
  • The king noted that the storm seemed to worsen with Madame Weatherberry’s temper.
  • The rules of magic seem to be rather inconsistent. For insistence, Madame Weatherberry says the students can use their magic for harm if it’s self defense. But she also stated fairies are literally incapable of doing harmful magic. All of this foreshadows that any magical person can do magic and witchcraft if they please.
  • Storms happen fairly frequently, and they always have a direct affect on the characters...this is because Madame Weatherberry intentionally caused those storms to have the exact purpose they did.
  • Lucy and Brystal claim Madame Weatherberry returned to the academy as a completely different person.
  • When the incantation in Madame Weatherberry’s book doesn’t work immediately, the students mention doubting the spells in it.
  • There’s Sweetie Graffiti, with one of the initials being “S.W.” The first letter of the Snow Queen’s title is S and the first letter of Madame Weatherberry’s last is W.
  • Horence points to the Sweetie Graffiti and puts up two fingers, then one. He’s trying to tell them about Madame Weatherberry’s Split-Personality Takeover.
    A Tale of Witchcraft
  • Lucy notes the lynxes stared at her in a human way. Turns out they’re students Mistress Mara cursed.
  • Lucy claims she recognizes one of the faces on the pumpkins...it’s Brystal, who has been cursed and had her face engraved on the vegetable.
  • When Brystal and Seven arrive at the Three Thirty Three meeting, the fairy loses track of the prince. The Righteous King appears right after that.
