One hell of a hunt, AKA Djävligt jagad, is a Swedish Zero-budget action film from 1995.
On a camping trip, a group of friends stumble upon a satanic cult, resulting in them being hunted by the cult. They call up a group of elite soldiers called "The specials" to deal with the mess. Hilarity ensues.
- Angst? What Angst?: The main character doesn't seem to be very bothered by all his friends being killed by the satanists.
- Chromosome Casting: The only female character in the film is a sex worker by a payphone, and she is also played by a man.
- Cool Car: The satanist's pimped-out car.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: One of the campers is killed by being force-fed devil poop.
- Cruel Twist Ending: The main character has finally managed to defeat the satanists... Only for him to slip on a road and get run over by a car.
- Diabolus ex Machina: The satanists often use the power of satan to keep up with the heroes.
- Disney Villain Death: One of the satanists die by falling off a cliff.
- Evil Is Hammy: All the satanists, especially the leader.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: one of the satanists is killed via branch impalement.
- Lawful Stupid: The characters are very careful to follow traffic rules during the car chases.
- Ominous Pipe Organ: Many of the scenes with the cult are scored with synth organs.
- Real Trailer, Fake Movie: The film starts with a trailer for the fake horror movie Evil hyvel.
- Shock and Awe: The satanists gets lighting powers during a ritual, which they later use liberally.
- Shout-Out: One of the satanists has Terminator vision in a POV shot, and a cover of the The A-Team ledmotif plays when the specials first drive to the scene.
- Special Effect Failure: Special effects probably drawn in Deluxe paint!
- Villain Opening Scene: The film starts with some satanist murders.
- What a Drag: The result of one of the satanists trying to stop the heroes' car by holding onto it. After the ensuing car chase, all that remains of him is an arm.
