Tropes for the film:

  • As Himself
  • Clear Their Name: Juan's lawyer went through footage of a Dodgers game to prove his innocence and a phone call traced at the stadium to prove he didn't do it.
  • Miscarriage of Justice: Juan was mistaken for someone else who killed Martha Puebla, who was a witness at his brother's parole hearing and it took using footage of a show to figure out his alibi.
  • Mistaken Identity: Juan was mistaken as a suspect due to him fitting the description on a facial composite.
