Game Over: Kasparov and the Machine (2003)

Game Over: Kasparov And The Machine documents Gary Kasparov's series of chess matches against the IBM supercomputer, Deep Blue. The IBM team's milestone victory over a human chess grandmaster incites Machine Worship, while Kasparov's suspicion towards IBM's program amounts to The Computer Is a Cheating Bastard paranoia. Game Over deals with the impact this historic match has on our conception of human capability, the inexorable conquest of Artificial Intelligence in all spheres of human cognition, and our fears of a looming singularity.
