Dollman is a 1991 science fiction film directed by Albert Pyun.

Brick Bardo (Tim Thomerson), a Cowboy Cop on the planet Arturos, pursues his archnemesis Sprug (Frank Collison) into an energy field that transports both of them onto Planet Earth, in the Bronx, where they are only 1/6 the size of everyone else. The neighborhood they land in is ruled by Braxton Red (Jackie Earle Haley) and his criminal gang. Brick befriends local woman Debi Alejandro (Kamala Lopez), who enlists him in her fight against Braxton.

Dollman contains examples of:

  • Hitler Cam: Used in shots from Brick's perspective while he's talking to humans.
  • Human Shield: At the beginning of the movie, a man on Arturos takes a bunch of people in a laundromat hostage and uses a fat woman as a shield. Brick warns him that his gun will blast right through the woman, then through the hostage taker, then through the woman behind him. All the hostages faint, pinning the criminal to the floor.
  • Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy: Braxton chases Debi, repeatedly attacking her with bursts of machine gun fire, none of which come close to hitting her. Later, one of his goons tries to shoot Brick with two guns at once, and doesn't manage to hit him even though they're in the same room.
  • Losing Your Head: Sprug's entire body has been blown away during various fights with Brick. His head now sits on a hoverboard that acts as a life support system and mobility device.
  • Matte Shot: Used in most shots where Brick and a human are both visible.
  • Revenge by Proxy: Brick used to have a wife and two kids, who were murdered by Sprug to hurt him.
  • Sean Connery Is About to Shoot You: The hostage taker points his gun at the camera while threatening Brick.
  • Soft Glass: When Debi is dragged into a car, Brick smashes through her apartment window so he can drop down and help her.
  • Sunglasses at Night: Brick wears sunglasses in all situations. Da Chief yells at him, "Take off those sunglasses! It's night!"
