- Synopsis: An epic Bartimaeus/Kitty story where Kitty narrowly escapes assassination by becoming a spirit. Posthumously, she and Bartimaeus attempt to solve her murder, uncovering a conspiracy to take over Britain in the process.
- Comments: A bit of a Crack Fic, given how the whole idea is that Kitty turns into a djinni, but her gradual adaptation to her new species is very realistic, and the shipping is also quite sweet.
