- Status: latest update - June 12th, 2019 (delayed from February 14th, 2019 due to an unfortunate event).
- Synopsis: A fanmade season 3 story in episodic format.
- Pairing(s): None so far. The author said there'd be Ship Tease of multiple pairings and they have 2 polls so the readers can choose the pairings they'd like to see featured in the story.
- Comments: I really like the way the author divided the story in episodes. The writing is described in a way that makes you feel like you're watching the series instead of reading a book, it's awesome. The author puts a lot of effort into making the characters feel like they aren't OOC and creating interesting plotlines that don't roam way too further away from the original cartoon's tone.
- The worldbuilding is so rich, it's as imaginative as the original cartoon, if not more. The OCs aren't the focus, they're just supportive characters that don't steal the spotlight away from the main characters, which is great, no Sues at all. There are references to other contents just like the cartoon used to have. Wow, it is just like watching the show again, maybe even improved, it really renewed my love for it, so, seriously, check this one out.
- I've spoken to the author by PM and while there haven't been recent updates, the author is still writing the story, they just had to pause for a moment due to health issues and other things that happened in their life. They requested me to link their DeviantArt profile instead of their Fanfiction.net one due to easier access to their journals where they explain their current situation (whenever they can), and to link all the available websites where the fanfic can be found so the reader can choose their preferred one to read.
- AGuest: Absolutely second that. I've been a reader of this one for years now. It never failed to surprise me and make me smile whenever it updates. It made me want to watch the show again to remember it better so I can catch all the references (I already did!).
Hospitality or Hostility? by Supergirl saves the world

- Synopsis: A three-part-story, with different plots for each of the acts. Act One has the Storm Hawks stranded on a Terra with very suspicious-seeming natives, Act Two follows the group as they try to save one of their own from Demonic Possession and try not to get killed by him, and the third act features a battle over an ancient and powerful Terra.
- Pairing(s): None, though there is Ship Tease for Cyclonis/Dark Ace, Piper/Aerrow and Piper/Stork
- Comments: The chapters aren't very long and the writing-style is simplistic, but this is definitely one of the better "season three" fics out there. However, it is, sadly, a Dead Fic.
- Tropeforhire: This fic is very interesting, has a really nicely drawn comic version by the author themselves on DeviantART of a part of the first arc. This isn't a "season three" work, though. It was written way before even the second season came out, it's simply AU (with the events of the cartoon, not the universe itself).

- Status: Dormant (currently two-part, a third part was announced but never released)
- Synopsis: A RPG-esque story with a mainly OC cast and occasional hints of in-universe crossover (most notably a group of Terras based on The Legend of Zelda and the appearance of a character from Code Lyoko). Stars Kai, an Adventurer Archaeologist who was once Starling's apprentice, as he tries to find an Ancient ship of dangerous power on orders from Arygyn before Cyclonis or the Sky Knight Council can.
- Pairing(s): Starling/OC, Aerrow/Piper is heavily hinted.
- Comments: The chapters are kinda long and the author occasionally has dialogue issues, but the plot is extremely engaging. Kai is an interesting character, as are the other OC's that make up the core cast with Starling and Piper, both of whom stay in character. All in all, a great adventure fic. Unfortunately, it has been dormant for a very long time.
Gargoyles by defectivebrainstorm

- Synopsis: 17 years after the fall of Cyclonia, a young Sky Knight with seemingly prophetic dreams of an approaching evil sets out to assemble a squadron and stop whatever his dreams are warning him about.
- Comments: A Doorstopper of a story about a Ragtag Bunch of Misfits and their quest to save the world. Don't let the OC-centric premise put you off — it's easily one of the best Storm Hawks fics out there. The characters, their relationships and dialogue, all feel incredibly real and are lovingly fleshed out. The writing is evocative and full of thought and feeling. It's a rollercoaster of emotions that captures everything from grief and rage to joy and hope, from extraordinary and humbling circumstances to the affections and annoyances of everyday life.
- Notes: Set in an AU due to most of it being written before the conclusion of the show. While the story has been dormant for years, the main plot and most of the denouement are complete.
Green Star by Mariphasa Hecatene

- Synopsis: When Stork must return to the Merbs' home terra, many secrets of the past are revealed, both for Stork and for others.
- Pairing(s): Piper/Stork, hints of one-sided Cyclonis/Piper
- Comments: What starts as a simple "pretend to be married" plot actually develops into something else, which is almost-unheard of. Short and sweet at only five chapters, the romance is there but not overly suffocating and it moves along at a reasonable pace.
- romantiCaveman: Seconded. Its tone doesn't exactly match a typical episode of the show, what with the romance and darker themes, but it's still a good quick read and one of the finest Storm Hawks fanfics I've read.

- Synopsis: "Sometimes, to see the best in someone else, you have to see yourself at your weakest." After an ambush, Piper is taken prisoner by Cyclonia. Watch as what could have been the Atmos's darkest hour, becomes a tale of trust, friendship, betrayal, and even love
- Pairings: Piper/Cyclonis
- Comments: A Piclonis fic that quickly evolves from cliched romance to a deep, thoughtful study of how people view their enemies, romance amongst a war, and the culture of Atmosia and Cyclona, with more then a few hints of a conspiracy thriller, and a heartfelt romance all at its core. Certainly worth picking up, and a cracking good read.

The Infinity Stone by Clockwerk Orange

- Synopsis: When Piper finds one of the second most powerful crystals known to exist, she discovers its ability to let her see into and experience universes that could've been, but weren't. Her trespassing in the multiverse leads to repercussions, good and bad, in her own world, and it draws two people closer together across space and time. Contains Cyper.
- Pairings: Piper/Cyclonis
- Comments: A Piclonis and AU fic that has Piper seeing glimpses of other versions of herself across the multiverse, from being the very evil that threatens Atmos to being in The Age of Sail/Piracy or in The Wild West, and how her life intersects with the Cyclonis of those worlds. A bit of a slowburn romance as Piper living her other counterpart's lives begins to grow her own feelings towards Cyclonis, while at the same time giving her an idea of how to make Cyclonis end the war peacefully (which helps keep the romance from becoming too overbearing). There's even a bit of drama with Piper struggling to decide if these feelings are really hers or her counterparts, if her Cyclonis is genuine about her feelings and not just manipulating her as well as the presence of an AU version of herself who seeks to kill every Master Cyclonis across the multiverse.
