Castle Numbskull: Home of The Trollan Trilogy by Gonzo the Mediocre

  • Recommended by bookwormgal
  • Pairings: Mostly Orko/Dree Elle
  • Summary: Set in the 2002 series, Dree Elle is blown into Eternia and has more adventures than she wants.
  • Comments: Lots of worldbuilding in regards to Trolla, some nice character development for everyone, and plenty of adventure.

The Sad Peace by O. Sharp

  • Recommended by Dina M
  • Summary: A proposed, two-part backstory for the Filmation cartoon, in script form. The first part, The Sad Peace Begins, takes place twenty years before He-Man and focuses mostly on a younger Sorceress. The second part, The Sad Peace Ends, tells of the very first time Adam became He-Man, and his first confrontation with Skeletor.
  • Comments: These scripts were actually written for, and submitted to, Filmation in the mid-80s, but were never accepted as production on the He-Man cartoon had ended by the time the scripts were done. Since they were written as potential episodes, they're very Original Flavor, even down to the moral segments at the end.

Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

  • Summary: 2002 Version. Orko came to Eternia from his home on Trolla by accident and has been dealing with the native uncooperative magic ever since. It isn't easy sometimes, but he's accepted his new life. Those back home, however, have been worried and trying to find him since he vanished. And when they try to retrieve Orko, a couple of others are dragged along to the Trollan's old world.

Crossover Fics

Rise of Power and Honor by EvaShinobiKaiserKnight

  • Recommended by: LegionnaireBlaze
  • Status: Dead
  • Crosover with: The Risingofthe Shield Hero
  • Synopsis: The Sorceress of Castle Greyskull has seen the summoned Heroes and has found them wanting. Thus to save those world from the Wave of Catastrophe the Sorceress has summoned heroes of her own to inherit the power of the Elders and defend this world by the power and in honor of Greyskull. Now the Strongest Man in the Universe & the Princess of Power have been chosen He-Man and She-Ra!
  • Comments: The first crossover between Mastersofthe Universe and Rising of the Shield Hero done by the author. Despite it being a pleasure to read, at least to me, it was rebooted into Rising of the Masters of the Universe below.

Rising of the Masters of the Universe by EvaShinobiKaiserKnight

  • Recommended by: LegionnaireBlaze
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Crossover with: The Risingofthe Shield Hero
  • Synopsis: The Sorceress of Castle Greyskull has seen the Cardinal Heroes and seen the corrupted path they now walk. Thus to save the world from the Wave of Catastrophe she summons heroes of her own to inherit the power of the Elders and defend this world by the power and in honor of Greyskull. Now it is time to see the Master of the Universe Rise!
  • Comments: This is the authors' second attempt at a crossover between Mastersofthe Universe and Shield Hero, and is a reboot of the first. It's very good so far, and I honestly believe it deserves its own page.

He-Man and the Queens of Gainos by EvaShinobiKaiserKnight

  • Recommended by: LegionnaireBlaze
  • Status: Dead
  • Crossover with: Queen's Blade
  • Synopsis: Come all and lets me tell to you of our younger generation of a young man who would become the strongest man on Gainos. Though I did omit some things and changed other but believe me children as I say every part of this story is true even the parts that were omitted and changed. This is the story of the last heir to Greyskull the one who would be known as the hero of Gainos, He-Man
  • Comments: The authors' second crossover involving Queen's Blade, the first being a crossover with the Thundercats. The first chapter begins with a reverse Isekai, the main character actually being born in Gainos but sent to 'our' world for protection which he is obviously mistusting about until he is shown the truth, then a group of priests and paladins attempt to destroy Castle Greyskull and kill the 'heretics' inside, only for He-Man to exit Castle Greyskull with Battle Cat and soundly defeat them without a drop of blood.

Alternative Title(s): He Man And The Masters Of The Universe
