- Comments: In Maleficent fanfiction, it's usually Maleficent who dislikes Phillip and views his relationship with Aurora negatively. Here, Diaval gets to be the overprotective parent. Has a great Diaval voice, lots of humor, and some very sweet moments at the end.

Meanwhile, Diaval discovers that roaming the countryside as a dragon is not without consequences.
