Synopsis: The end of the Dream Traveler is near... Seven years after his last rough departure, Klonoa is sent back to a rather familiar world. Together with his newly met buddy Kio, they set out to uncover the mysteries of his strange returnal, and to get rid of the ultimate nightmare that has been the cause of almost everything up to now, once and for all.
- The first half or so forms an original story focusing on Klonoa and co's journey to defeat the ultimate nightmare, Tenebrae Hue, which would free Klonoa from his responsibility as the Dream Traveler. The remainder of the fiction focuses on Klonoa and Lolo's children, and adapts the storyline of Klonoa Heroes: The Legendary Star Medal.

Little do any of them know, however, that once Hue finishes draining Noctis' power, a far greater evil would await them.
