He is FLAWED, deeply so, and the story isn't afraid to show us that- but at the same time, we can see why he is the way he is and why change is so hard for him to maintain. The addictive parts of his personality are addressed honestly and thoughtfully, and his happy ending is so well deserved.

Comments: I'm not even a Hetalia fan, but I was seriously impressed by this work. The states all act and behave exactly as you'd expect them too, and while the writing does delve into controversial topics occasionally, the author does their best to take a neutral stance on these topics. Overall, definitely worth the read.
