- Synopsis: Historical(ish) AU: Dimitri the kitchen boy becomes a companion to Alexei and remains on with the doomed Romanov family through the Russian Revolution. Somewhere along the way, a romance silently blooms. Who will survive? And will they make that survival mean something? Anastasia/Dimitri. Rated T for violence and thematic elements. Also some minor language.

- Comments: The author really did their research on the history of the Romanov family and the Russian Revolution. This mixes well with the Don Bluth story, where we follow Dimitri and Anastasia as their feelings for each other blossoms under the oppression of the Russian Revolution. Sounds violent, but there are only a few chapters that get too real. There are a lot of lighthearted and emotional scenes in here as well, and if you're in the mood for a thrilling, tragic romance I highly suggest this.
