These are recommendations made by Tropers for Alias fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found here.

You can also add to the current recommendations if you want. Refrain from posting Conversation in the Main Page though; that goes in the discussion page.

Page Reconfiguration in Progress: Fanfic Recommendations is being split into pages for each individual series, so help is needed to classify each entry into the appropiate category, and to format it according to the template.

Author and Websites

Yahtzee

  • Recommended by Voodoo Child.
  • Comments: Yahtzee writes amazing and detailed fic, usually centered around Jack Bristow and the Jack/Irina relationship. Most of it is long, but her fics are among the most beloved in fandom, particularly "The Prophet's Right Hand" and "Irenicon".

Auburn

  • Recommended by Embryon.
  • Comments: Auburn's talent for giving characters interesting, nuanced emotions is only rivalled by the realism of her espionage world. The former can be appreciated in her short "character studies," while the latter is most evident in longer works such as "Like Walking on Knives".

Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

Twist of Faith by Nomad 1

  • Recommended by Danel
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Season 1 AU. When someone else makes a grab for Page 47 at the same time as Sydney, Sloane's actions in response change everything.
  • Comments: The first part of an epic and twisty trilogy, starting in Season 1 but potentially containing spoilers for the entire series. Ensemble focused, but with a special focus upon Jack and Sloane.

Bristow's Eleven by Yahtzee

  • Recommended by Maridee
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Jack Bristow organizes a group of people to retrieve a Rambaldi artifact from a Los Vegas casino.
  • Comments: Brilliantly plotted and executed.
    • Seconded by Voodoo Child. We can only wish we'd gotten something this funny and smart on the show. Also, it's not entirely a gen-oriented fic. There is explicit sex between Syd/Vaughn, Lauren/Sark, and Jack/Irina, and the relationships feature prominently, but the caper does take center stage.

Stories focused on the romantic relationships between the cast.

None yet.

Crossed Wires by virtualpersonal

  • Recommended by: Marcus S Lazarus
  • Status: Complete
  • Crossover with: Supernatural
  • Synopsis: Dean goes back to hunting and searches for a way to get Sam out of Lucifer’s cage. He’s close, so damned close to an answer. If only a certain sexy red head... make that a blonde... or is it a brunette, would quit popping up and interfering with his schemes. CIA Agent Sydney Bristow is on a mission, and no irritating, too-charming-for- his-own-good, backwoods hunter, is gonna slow her down. The race, to find the holy spear of Longinus, is on.
  • Comments: A bit of a Continuity Snarl (some of Sydney's words suggest it's set Season Three but she talks as though SD-6 is still an issue), but it creates a fascinating blend of the two series, as Dean and Sydney's strengths come together as Dean's supernatural knowledge and Sydney's contacts allow them both to find the Spear (as well as dropping some interesting hints about how Rambaldi might fit into the Supernatural canon)

Doctor Who and the Rambaldi Enigma by Rheanna

  • Recommended by: Marcus S Lazarus
  • Status: Complete
  • Crossover with: Doctor Who
  • Synopsis: Retrieving a Rambaldi artefact from the Vatican's vaults is all in a day's work for Sydney Bristow — until she finds herself transported to fifteenth century Rome. All Sydney wants is to get home, but she's not the only time traveller with an interest in the mysterious Signor Rambaldi.
  • Comments: Fills in every unanswered question about how Rambaldi could be that brilliant in the fifteenth century while also subverting the current 'focus' on the 'modern' Doctors by teaming Sydney up with the ''Third'' Doctor (currently on a mission from the Time Lords) and leading into a very neat confrontation with the Master.
