X-Men: Evolution - Season 5
picks up from X-Men: Evolution Season 4 as the students of Professor Xavier and Mystique deal with the aftermath of the battle against Apocalypse and the increased attention the world is giving them. In the middle of this the students are introduced to Professor Emma Frost and her decidedly different method for training new mutants, and discover her darker connection to the mysterious Hellfire Club.
X-Men: Evolution - Season 5 contains examples of:
- Blind Weaponmaster: When Cyclops' visor is taken from him he his still able to target the Reavers by sound and continue fighting them.
- Blind Without 'Em: Cyclops' has to close his eyes when he loses his glasses or risk shooting everyone around him, forcing him to rely on his hearing to find out what is going on.
- Eldritch Abomination: Kitty Pryde is nearly fed to a dark force by the Reavers which so unnerves her Professor Xavier cannot even view it in her memory without causing a panic attack. Even Memetic Badass Wolverine admits attempting to track its remains makes him uncomfortable.
