"We don't have to dream that we're important. We are."
In the aftermath of the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam, Mr. House managed to secure his New Vegas, with the help of his second in command, Six. But events don't often go to plan. Especially when Big MT is involved.
Now, with a portal to Night City, Mr. House finds himself fighting in an environment that is more hostile and dangerous than the Pre-War World.
But as they say. Even in the City of Dreams... The House Always Wins.
Welcome to Night City, Mr. House! contains examples of:
- Big Sister Instinct: Margot Wojciechowicz is extremely protective of her little brother, Jakub.
- Cutting Off the Branches: The story takes place after Mr. House's ending in Fallout: New Vegas.
- Dropping the Bombshell: Six tells House about a project the Think Tank at Big MT were working on, and when they reveal what it is, it being a portal to different dimensions, House is shocked, and even directly refers to it as a bombshell.
- Hyper-Competent Sidekick: Courier Six is this to Mr. House, who lampshades this openly by stating that the former has a habit of exceeding his already high expectations as proven with the fact that she managed to effectively take over Big MT without him knowing until the beginning of the story.
- Interdimensional Travel Device: Project Second Chance, a Pre-War project completed by the Think Tank, was about research into Dimensional Portal technology meant to open up portals to different dimensions to escape to in preparation for the bombs dropping.
- Mad Scientist: The Think Tank, as per usual. There were 15 prisoners captured from another dimension, but by the time Courier Six stopped the Think Tank only 10 of them are left.
- Outside-Context Problem: The Big Mountain is this to House and New Vegas in general. While House knew of them pre-War, he had no idea they their faculty was still around nor that their chief scientists were still alive and operating there until Courier Six informed him of them after becoming the new manager of Big MT and telling him about the newly restarted Project Second Chance.
- Villain Protagonist: The story's main character is Robert Edwin House AKA Mr. House who, by the start of the story, has done alot of morally reprehensible stuff to secure his power and position in the Mojave desert, even if it were for pragmatic reasons.
