Ultraseven and RWBY: The Kaiju War of Remnant is a crossover between RWBY and the Ultra Series on Wattpad that was created by (22wlauzon)
and began on April 22, 2018, and is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Heisei Ultraseven series which premiered in 1994, the story takes place in the main timeline, and is split into three parts.
Ultraseven and RWBY: The Kaiju War of Remnant provides examples of:
- Apocalypse Cult: Salem's faction. In this story, it is made up not only of humans and animals, but also a whole load of mean and violent aliens.
- The Bus Came Back: This fan-fic features A LOT of obscure Kaiju from past shows, such as Gabora, Seabozu, and Kiyla. Blizzard. Gazort and Magnia. Sigma Zuigul and Geschenk. and also Alien Zamu and Alien Garut from the Heisei Ultraseven EVOLUTION arc.
- Darker and Edgier: While the story does have moments of lighthearted comedy, the story can become incredibly dark and serious extremely quickly, featuring character death, dismemberment, and moments of intense violence.
- Downer Ending: Chapter 33, the last chapter of Part One has a real punch in the gut of an ending. Leaving us with a badly injured Team RWBY and MHTH, and also giving us the deaths of Teams BRNZ, NDGO, and Neon Katt, and if that wasn't enough, this chapter also gives us the death of Ultraman Tiga, after Yang gets all her limbs removed by Alien Groza Grozomo.
- Interquel: The story takes place shortly after the events of Ultraman Trigger and after RWBY volume 2, but before volume 3. it also takes place in the original M78 universe.
- Names to Run Away from Really Fast: A lot of aliens have really fierce sounding names, one example of this is a female Alien Hipporit whos name is Jigoku (Japanese for Hell), while another example is a female Alien Bat named Shikomori meaning "Death Bat".
