Total Warriors Island is a Warrior Cats and Battle for Dream Island crossover. 24 cats (including 9 dead ones (4 of which would otherwise have faded to the Void, and another 2 which were mistakenly put as alive in the Allegiances) are competing for 1 Lake Territory, as a whole.

This fanfic contains examples of:
- Back from the Dead: Bluestar, Brokenstar, Firestar, Hawkfrost, Hollyleaf, Mapleshade, Spottedleaf, Scourge, and Tigerstar are competing with physical forms despite being dead at the time.
- Big Red Button: The Black Box challenge is based off of Solitary, and Played for Laughs with the Purple Button, which really screwed up Mothwing when she nearly got eaten by a Fish Monster, similar to what happened to Blocky in BFDI 1b, and the exact opposite happened to Hawkfrost, which also landed into the lake but didn’t get eaten.
- Deus ex Machina: Hawkfrost gets one after landing in the lake, jamming the heating system and allowing him to stay inside it for longer, leading to his team’s victory.
- Diabolus ex Machina: The Purple Button for Mothwing. It nearly killed her because she almost got eaten by a giant fish that likes grabbing Pencil. Only thanks to Brokenstar’s elimination was she able to survive.
Word of God says that it probably wouldn’t have mattered whether or not she survived since she would’ve been revived by her Recovery Center. - Fiendish Fish: The Fish Monster of BFDI almost ate Mothwing, while she was trapped inside a box.
- How Unscientific!: The Fling Of Shame, mentioned by the Announcer, probably would be deadly in a series with graphic depictions of violence and would not make sense, especially considering what happened to Smokepaw during the Great Journey, yet these cats easily survived being flung into the air and later landing in the FOCAL relatively unharmed.
- That Reminds Me of a Song: The contestants almost started the Spongebob Squarepants intro, but the Announcer stopped it before it could start.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Brokenstar pretty much didn’t do much aside from being a manipulative uncooperative jerk and was eliminated really quickly with 1 comment.
- What Does This Button Do?: Hawkfrost’s attitude towards the Purple Button. Thankfully Subverted, though, since there was no fish monster that tried to eat him.
