This story contains examples of:

  • Abusive Parents: Dakota's father is an example of this trope. He disapproves of her relationship with Sam, and when the two are still dating, he stops providing Dakota with benefits and keeps her in the house.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Topher is an example of this trope. In canon, although he was narcissistic, he was mostly kind. When hosting the Aftermath in Action, he takes a page from Chris and starts to act like a huge asshole to the point that Ella had to put her foot down and stand up to him (similar to what occurred between Geoff and Bridgette in canon).
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Scott. Although he's still a jerk, he's not as nasty as he was in canon Revenge of the Island and is capable of being nice. He was even disgusted with Sugar's sabotage in Action.
  • All for Nothing: The Gaffers fell into despair after the war challenge since all they fought for was a treasure of Anne Maria's hairspray.
  • Alternate Universe Fic: The ROTI and PI cast are switched to the first season.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Scott, while not the main antagonist of the story and is less of a jerk than he was in canon, he’s still not exactly what you can call a good guy. He’s also the official winner of Island in this story.
  • Big Bad: Each season has a main antagonist.
    • Scarlett for Island.
    • Sugar for Action.
    • Mal and Georgia for World Tour.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: This is the reason why Sugar hates Ella and Dawn. She believes that their kindness is just a facade to hide the fact that they're jerks. Subverted, as the two aren't faking anything.
  • The Cameo: Ezekiel makes a cameo during the first Aftermath segment asking Scott a question about his relationship with Amy.
  • Dead Fic: As of 2021, the story is cancelled and hasn't been updated. Thankfully, the Author has placed in their plans for the final chaoters.
  • Denser and Wackier: The series in canon had comedy for sure, but this fic is mostly comedic instead of dramatic.
  • The Dog Bites Back: Sammy stands up to Amy during her elimination in Island, and she went far as to drop the F-Bomb on her out of anger.
  • Foreshadowing: In the first episode, Brick noticed Amy abusing Sammy and noted in the Confessional that sisters shouldn't treat each other badly. Cut to a season later, and Brick and Sammy are a couple.
  • Frameup: Scott frames Sky for stealing everyone's possessions in a way to get her eliminated due to her being one of the most helpful players.
  • Granola Girl: Dawn was unimpressed by the food that Chef made in the first episode, as when Chef gave her a clump of dirt after suggesting something vegan, she wished that they could've at least given her a salad. That and the fact that her personality is part of this trope.
  • Hypocrite: Sky calls her team in World Tour a bunch of jerks when annoyed by them, ignoring the fact that she acted like one in the past season.
  • Jerkass Ball: Sky gets a huge one. Just like Leshawna, she pretends to cry so her team would let her be with her sister. Unlike, Leshawna, when she was exposed, she doesn't feel bad for it and to add insult to injury, she insults the remaining contestants behind their back and still doesn't apologize. This disgusting and vile behavior gets her eliminated.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: In the disaster challenge, Cameron gets his body injured by Chef since he threw a book at him. Sammy feels bad about this since she helped him across the wall.
  • Not Good with Rejection: Ella developed a crush on Dave in the canoe challenge. When she told Dave, he told her that he didn't feel the same way, making her heartbroken. Luckily, she got better and moved on.
  • The Sixth Ranger: Unlike the others, Topher joins the game in "Brunch of Disgustingness" after interning for Chris.
    • Charles and Georgia, two new characters, join the cast at the Action reunion special.
