After breaking free from Pandora's vault, Technoblade and Dream plan to head back to the Greater Dream SMP. However, upon jumping through a nether portal that should've led them to the Greater SMP, they find themselves in an unknown forest. Where are they, how did they get there, and why is everyone calling Technoblade a Demon?

This is an alternate universe fanfiction written by DeathlyJazzHands55, in which Dream and Technoblade break out of Pandora's box earlier than in canon Dream SMP and are teleported to the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba before Muzan Kibutsuji murders the Kamado Family. What takes place is a series of canon-altering events that change the world of Demon Slayer for better or for worse.

The Pig, The Mask, and The Slayers provides examples of:

  • Adaptational Badass: In the original source material, Hanako Kamado dies because of Muzan Kibutsuji in the first episode. Here, she becomes a Demon due to Wilbur in Vol 1 - 10: White Streak - Part 1 after she is resurrected by Technoblade using a Totem Of Undying in Vol 1 - 4: Arrival - Part 4. Her Blood Demon art is the exact same as Wilburs, though she uses it in a completely different way than him. After being trained by Wilbur, she is able to defeat a Demon Slayer all on her own, cause Shinobu Kocho and Kanao Tsuyuri to run away with Wilbur's help, and more impressively, defeat Upper Moon 3 in a one-on-one using her ability and combat prowess to its fullest extent.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Kokushibo, one of Muzan's Upper Moons, cares about Nezuko Kamado and is willing to train them in the art of Moon Breathing to infiltrate The Demon Slayer Corps.
  • Adaptational Villainy: In Demon Slayer canon Nezuko Kamado sided with the heroes. In this fanfic, she sided with the villains, though through circumstantial villainy rather than being an outright villain. This also fits with Hanako Kamado, as in the original, she is dead, whereas here, she is resurrected by Technoblade, and turned into a Demon by Wilbur [who is Upper Moon Six in this fanfic instead of Daki and Gyutaro] and becomes a part of the Big Bad Wannabe aka Muzan and his Twelve Kizuki later on, though only because she has yet to side with the true Big Bad of which that belongs to Technoblade.
  • Adaptation Personality Change: Whereas in canon Dream SMP, Technoblade acts like a dumbass to hide his extreme badassery, in this story he is a stoic swordsman with a Tragic Backstory with hints of Canon Technoblade mixed in.
  • Ancient Evil: This is Technoblade, as seen in Vol 3 - 25: The Flame And The Moon - Part 2. Wilbur explains to Muzan that Technoblade has been alive for far longer than even the Demon King has been after Technoblade delivered a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown to him.
Wilbur: In the folklore of old, they all tell the tale of a pig-legged or goat-legged creature that raised hell on anyone it came into contact with, that destroyed cities because it felt like it. A heartless monster who wanted to devour your soul. He was the Devil in the Holy Bible, Satan in the Book of Morman, you name a religion, he is their antichrist. That is Technoblade. That is the Blood God. And THAT was who you annoyed today, Lord Muzan.
  • Badass Normal: During the story, Nezuko does not use any sort of mystical abilities, and up until Vol 3 - 24: Moon and Flame - Part 1 she doesn't have any sort of ability, and can completely hold her own while going toe to toe with Demons like Kokushibo, simply using a wooden blade and nothing more, even being able to slice through his skin with it.
  • Cannon Fodder: The Pig, The Mask, and The Slayers uses several Original Characters that come in the form of Cannon Fodder. Examples of this include Sanji and Chihiro from Vol 1 - 7: Blood God - Part 3 Tadami Sugito from Vol 2 - 20: Private Lessons - Part 4 and recently, Amijiro Munakata from Vol 3 - 29: In Blood We Trust - Part 1.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: In Vol 3 - 29: In Blood We Trust - Part 1 Hanako Kamado, who was recently raised to the title of Lower Moon Six after her battle and victory against Upper Moon Three: Akaza gets into a fight with Amijiro Munakata, a Kinoe ranked Demon Slayer, and absolutely crushes him without any effort at all, turning him into a human punching bag. This is thanks to not only having Wilburs Blood flowing in her veins but also Technoblades Blood, which was given to her by him in Vol 3 - 27: Transference - Part 1.
  • Death by Adaptation: This is what happens to Tanjiro Kamado. In Demon Slayer he is the protagonist, whereas here is a supporting character that dies in Vol 2 - 11: On The Brink - Part 1 after arguing with Dream, who kills him in an act of Dead Serious to show Nezuko that he is not kidding around anymore.
  • Evil Weapon: The Demon Blade is a gift from Kokushibo to Nezuko. However, it has a curse, and that curse is that if a Human were to wield the blade for too long, then they would lose their humanity and become a Demon.
  • Experienced Protagonist: Technoblade and Dream both, and that are thanks to their altered backstories and their extreme swordsmanship and combat prowess. For Dream, he is the son of The Dream God, a faction of Gods that are hellbent on protecting the prosperity of Humanity, and as such, he has fought many times, giving him his insane swordsmanship skills, his combat prowess, and his on-a-dime planning. Technoblade is also a God, the Blood God to be precise, and, as of ''Vol 3 - 25: Moon and Flame - Part 2" was revealed to have lived since medieval times as a mercenary at the age of 15, and then after his family was killed, he became The Blood God and a general of an army of Demons to destroy the land, becoming what everyone believed The Devil to be.
  • Genius Bruiser: Wilbur is both extremely smart and has an extremely overpowered Blood Demon Art and knows how to use it. For example, in ''Vol 2 - 18: Private Lessons - part 2, he uses his Blood Demon Art to secrete smoke from his skin, preventing Kanoe Tsuyuri from using her Flower Breathing Technique, making her run away from the fight.
  • Heel Realization: In Vol 3 - 28: Transference - Part 2 Technoblade begins to question if what he is doing/what he is working towards might be a bad idea thanks to an off comment made by Lower Moon Five aka Rui, who says what he said to Technoblade to Hanako on the roof of the mansion that Dream built for them at the beginning of the story
  • Hypocrite Has a Point: Technoblade despises The Demon Slayer Corp for using child soldiers, which is a good thing to point out and condemn until he commits Open Mouth, Insert Foot and does the exact same thing.
  • Jerk Ass Has A Point: Dream talks to Tanjiro about what has to happen with Hanako so she can live, based on her new physiology as a Demon.
Dream: So what? If that is how she must live now, then what do a few lives dying to protect ourselves mean?
Tanjiro: IT’S THE ENTIRE VILLAGE! HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!
Dream: Listen to me, Kamado, and hear my words clearly. I do not care. I’ve lost the ability to care over my time being alive, Do you wish for your sister to die?
Tanjiro: No, of course not, but—
Dream: So then that means you will let however many people die so that she lives. Mukago spoke to me about this issue independently, and the rest of the Lower Moons gave me a better explanation. Demons cannot stomach human food. Their stomachs physically cannot handle it, nor can their metabolism let it pass. It gets rejected. Animal meat is a good enough substitute. However, it can only go so far. Barely, even, so it doesn’t do the same thing as human flesh does.
  • Manipulative Bastard: In Vol 2 - 12: On the Brink - Part 2, Dream goes out of his way to murder Tanjiro to control Nezuko through fear, and continues to do this until Vol 2 - 16: On the Brink - Part 5 where Technoblade shows up and stops him from doing the same thing to Nezuko after she steps out of line. He also does this earlier on in Vol 1 - 3: Arrival - Part 3 where he interrogates Nezuko while constantly making her think he had done something horrible to Rokuta, and also using her being hungry as a way to fish information out of her.
  • Re-Power: In canonical Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Nezuko is a Demon with an explosive fiery blood Blood Demon Art. In The Pig, The Mask, and The Slayers however, Nezuko doesn't become a Demon, rather, she remains human through the story and practices Moon Breathing, learning it from Kokushibo to become a Demon Slayer to become a spy within their ranks for Technoblade's and Muzan's plan to annihilate them from within. This also applies to characters like Technoblade and Dream, where they are Demi-gods/sons of Gods and are therefore extremely overpowered. Technoblade can also use his powers to create other Demons that are immune to the sun, a Demons main weakness. Both Dream and Technoblade have an inventory, though they barely show up and use them, seeing as it takes a lot of power for them to actually do so. With Dream, it's potentially deadly if he doesn't put on his mask to fix him after the fact. Wilbur also gets some cool new powers, as he became a Demon after Muzan found him, gaining the ability to create explosions using a red mist, as well as generate smoke from his body to make it so Demon Slayers can't use their breathing techniques, handicapping them. Hanako also has these exact same abilities, though hasn't unlocked a majority of them, and is creating her own techniques using this new Blood Art of hers.
  • Story Arc: This story is split up into several different arcs that are all interconnected to the main plot of the fanfic.

  • Took a Level in Kindness: Over the course of the story Dream becomes a lot more of a Nice Guy than a Jerkass, though this takes a lot of time to happen.
  • Trapped in Another World: Technoblade and Dream are sent to the Demon Slayer universe thanks to a tampered Nether Portal, which was messed with by Dream XD Dream's father. Later, in Vol 3 - 27: Transference - Part 1 after his Death, Tanjiro gets sent to the Dream Isles/Dream SMP by Dream XD to heal his soul after Dream killed him earlier on in Vol 2 - 12: On The Brink - Part 1
