Star Wars: Force of Nature is a completed crossover between Godzilla and Star Wars Rebels created by General Rage.

And it's not a crossover between Star Wars and Mel Gibson film.

Star Wars: Force of Nature contains the following tropes:

  • All-Loving Hero: Ezra. He's one of the only people in the fic to truly sympathize with Godzilla, and even risks the mission to make sure that the kaiju is okay after he takes a Star Destroyer to the chest. The kaiju, as a result, seems to like Ezra more than most humans.
  • And I Must Scream: The poor Zillo Beast has been cloned (several times, if the prototypes are any indication) and given numerous cybernetic implants to control its behavior.
  • And the Adventure Continues: The Ghost crew and the Rebels live to continue fighting against the Empire. Godzilla returns to Earth and aids his fellow Kaiju in fighting off an alien invasion.
  • Anti-Hero: Godzilla as always but he eventually sided with the Rebels to fight the Empire.
  • Bad Boss: None of the directors of the project are saints, but when Darth Vader gets brought in, more than a few people are shaking in terror ( especially after he kills someone after they supposedly revealed secrets to the Rebels).
  • Bus Came Back: The Zillo Beast make its return ever since its last appearance in Clone Wars TV Series
  • Chekhov's Gun: Tsuburonda's radioacitve environment is what allows Godzilla to heal himself back to full condition.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Godzilla tore through the Imperial garrison stationed in Tsuburonda.
  • David vs. Goliath: Darth Vader and Godzilla.
  • Death World: Planet Tsuburonda is a hostile place with highly evolved but highly aggressive wildlife and its sun is unstable that it release high amounts of radiation.
  • Door Stopper: The fanfic's a surprisingly long read at over 222k words long.
  • Enemy Mine: Godzilla and the Ghost Crew teamed up to push the Empire off the planet.
  • Fully Absorbed Finale: The fanfic wraps up the forgotten "Zillo Beast" arc from "The Clone Wars" TV series.
  • Godzilla Threshold: With every arsenal in the human military completely useless, the humans decided to use Dimension Tide to defeat the Kaiju. It still doesn't kill him.
  • Good All Along: Dr. Boll is ashamed of her actions in awakening the original Zillo Beast, designing the gas that killed it, and now cloning a cyborg version of the same beast simply as extra muscle for the Empire. As such, she betrays the Empire and is the reason why Ahsoka knew about the experiment in the first place.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Lieutenant Mogal willingly remains behind to keep Godzilla's attention while Kamo and Arch get the wounded out. His death allows more troopers to escape, and brings a tear to Kamo's eye.
  • Hidden Depths: Ezra easily sees through Godzilla that behind his wrathful and terrifying facade, he hates being alone, something Ezra knew far too well back when he was a street rat.
  • Honor Before Reason: After Godzilla gets buried under a Star Destroyer, Ezra chooses to rescue him rather than continue the mission like his allies did.
  • Journey to the Center of the Mind: Ahsoka, Kanan and Ezra entered Godzilla's mind to gain his allegiance. It took a while till Ezra managed to convince him to help.
  • Klingon Scientists Get No Respect: Despite Boll being the one to successfully clone the Zillo Beast and learn crucial information about Godzilla, none of the higher ups on the planet (except Klusto) give her any due respect, partially due to their thoughts on aliens.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Kamo, along with being an Imperial officer, is a clone, and participated in Order 66. He still has his inhibitor chip, which reactivates when he sees two rebels fighting with lightsabers. Before he can do any harm, though, Ahsoka tells him about the chips, causing him to realize with horror just what he's done.
  • Nigh-Invulnerable: Godzilla brushes off everything the Empire tries to throw at him. Even a crashing Star Destroyer into him doesn't actually kill him.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Godzilla seems incredibly offended that the Empire has enslaved a giant monster, and immediately starts fighting it once it appears.
  • Outside-Context Problem: Unsurprisingly, Godzilla is this to both the Rebels and Imperials. Neither have any idea what Godzilla is, where it came from, or what it wants.
  • Psychic Link: Ahsoka, Kanan, and Ezra use the Force to enter Godzilla's mind and talk to him.
  • Restored My Faith in Humanity: Granted, Godzilla still sees Humans Are Bastards but seeing the actions of Ezra and the Rebels does soften him a bit, that there at least some people that are noble and good.
  • Shout-Out: The planet where the story took place is called Planet Tsuburonda of Eijira System. A reference to Eiji Tsuburaya.
  • Spared By Adaptation:
    • Godzilla is the original one from the Godzilla (1954) film, having barely escaped the Oxygen Destroyer.
    • Technically applies to the Zillo Beast. While it was implied in the series that Dr. Bol would clone the Beast, this story arc was never completed. Here, she successfully cloned the Beast, as well as several unaltered babies to restart the species.
  • Tragic Back Story: While in Godzilla's mind, Ezra, Kanan and Ahsoka learn about how he's one of the last kaiju, and that this is why he hates humans.
  • Trapped in Another World: Godzilla got zapped by Dimension Tide to another galaxy, ending up on the radiation-rich planet of Tsuburonda...right next to an Imperial base.
  • Unwilling Roboticisation: The Empire created more clones of the Zillo Beast before subjecting them to become cyborgs.
