Scordatura
is a romantic comedy fic by Davner.
An old friend of Belldandy's visits the temple, and chaos erupts when she falls for Keiichi. The two goddesses reluctantly fight over his affection, hoping to find a solution that makes everyone happy.
This fic includes the following tropes:
- A God Am I: After the zombie apocalypse hits Nekomi Tech, Skuld jumps at the opportunity to make worshippers out of the survivors. Worshippers of her, not the Almighty.
- Black Comedy: A scavenger settlement is sad. A scavenger settlement that resolves arguments through Calvinball? Hilarious.
- Crazy-Prepared: Nekomi's university has fire, typhoon, and zombie apocalypse alarms. Unfortunately, Keruso is eaten before he's able to trigger that last one.
- Poor Communication Kills: Because of Sif's poor handwriting, Keiichi's friends believed she'd given him a fake number. Keiichi- having rather low self-esteem at the time- agreed with them and never even tried to call it. Sif interpreted that as a rejection of her, and so on. Only years after the event are they able to clear up what really happened.
