Rubrum Oculus Evangelion
is a Fusion Fic placing the characters from Sally Face into the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
It's been sixteen years since the Second Impact, and the world is still recovering. That all changes when an Angel attacks Nockfell-3. The very same day, Sal Fisher is summoned to NERV headquarters and told that he must pilot an Evangelion Unit to fight it off. When Sal accepts this call to action, he finds himself facing a lot more than he bargained for.
This fanfiction contains the following tropes:
- Adaptational Badass: Almost everyone, due to the changed setting.
- Sal is now the pilot of a Humongous Mecha.
- Lisa is the Director of Operations at NERV, and holds the title of Captain.
- Addison and Henry are the Commander and Vice Commander of NERV, respectively.
- Breathable Liquid: The LCL that fills up the cockpit.
- Eye Scream: In the first episode, the Angel repeatedly stabs Unit-01 in the eye. Sal feels it, despite not having a real eye there.
- Fusion Fic: This fanfic is set in the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion using characters from Sally Face.
- Humongous Mecha: The titular Evangelions.
- The Faceless: Sal, like his canon counterpart, always wears a prosthetic face.
