Loud House: Infection of the Dead is a Loud House Zombie Apocalypse fanfic by MrPotassiumK.

An infection running rampant around the globe transforms people into zombies, or "roamers". One day, Royal Woods is hit hard by the infection, turning the life of the Louds and everyone they know from a peaceful one into a chaotic one, as their world descends into chaos. Who will survive in the end?

This fanfic is largely inspired by The Walking Dead, but it's not a crossover.

Loud House: Infection of the Dead provides examples of:

  • Action Girl: Lori, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, and Lana. By Chapter 20, most of the female characters can fight against roamers on their own.

    • In 20, Luan successfully sneaks up on Black and slices both his arms off before he can kill Lori and Lincoln.
  • Anyone Can Die: All characters are not safe from the untimely fates that await them. Features a lot of deaths, ranging from Red Shirts to Main Characters.
  • Apocalypse Anarchy: The first chapter showcases the madness and paranoia as civilization breaks down in Royal Woods and Detroit.
  • Arc Villain: Throughout the story, the group meet many different types of antagonists, but only a few stand out as the main antagonist for a period of time.

  • Ascended Extra: Benny, Luan's Satellite Love Interest from the TV show. note

  • Batter Up!: Baseball bats are used by survivors in the story, though Lynn’s bat is the most notable one. Clyde often uses her bat as well, and seems to own it since Chapter 15.
  • Berserk Button:
    • In Chapter 4, Clyde refuses to stop talking to Lynn, causing Francisco to beat him in a senseless rage.
    • In Chapter 5, Lori initiates a fight against Carol after she admitted that she still loved Bobby and that she wouldn’t stop taking drugs.

    • In Chapter 9, Vonda allows Sherry to be released from the group, who later conduct actions that result in the deaths of Missy and Lucy.
  • No Party Like a Donner Party: Heavily implied with The X-Tribe.
    • Subverted with Luna, as she was unaware she was being fed human meat to combat her starvation. After finding out, Luna flat out refused to eat human meat, much less with the fact that it belonged to Reggie.
