  • A Dog Named "Dog": Big calls his frog friend "Froggy."
  • All for Nothing: Station Square is still destroyed by Chaos.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Tails was bullied by the entire town (except for the police), before he met Sonic.
  • An Aesop: Surprisingly, the episode "Amy's Boyfriend" actually ends with a good message about leaving someone if they're abusing you.
  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: Tero in Tails vs. Tero.
  • As Long as There Is Evil: Anna who is cloned in New Enemy in Town.
  • Asshole Victim: Tero.
  • Avoid the Dreaded G Rating: Recent episodes (Season 2B-Present) have been much darker, tackling serious subjects like Spousal Abuse.
  • Battle Theme Music: The song, Free Bird is used as the background track., though its been shortened.
  • Birthday Episode: Chapter 4 of Meeting Brothers and Amy's Birthday as a whole.
  • Bittersweet Ending: In Sonic's Adventure, while Perfect Chaos is defeated, Station Square is still destroyed.
  • Canon Discontinuity: According to Alex Field, the first episode "Tails' Sadness" is non-canon.
  • Character Development: In Sonic's Adventure, Tails realizes he can't rely on Sonic forever.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • In The Origin of Mighty and Ray, it stated that Mighty and Ray, "fighting Metal Sonic with Knuckles and the Chaotix, and fighting Metal Sonic with Sonic and Tails," referencing Knuckles' Chaotix and Sonic Mania Adventures.
    • In "And Then, There Were Less", Tails mentioned "when Eggman kidnapped you for 6 months, I was left completely devastated," directly referencing Sonic Forces.
  • Dark and Troubled Past:
  • Detective Animal: Sonic, Knuckles and Amy investigate the disappearance of Tails, in a parody of the Noir style.
  • Domestic Abuse: Happened to Amy when she got an abusive boyfriend.
  • Do Not Call Me "Paul": Sonic's real name is Maruice.
    • It's also later revealed in And Then, There Were Less that Sonic's family name is Kellie.
    • Miles Prower prefers to be called Tails.
  • Dream Episode: The story Sleepy Time takes place in Tails' dream.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Tails not installing a landing gear in the other transformation.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Early episodes had the writing in the character's POV, but this concept was later scrapped.
  • Extra-Long Episode: Sonic's Adventure is a whooping 5,500 WORDS, others are around 600-1200.
  • Family-Unfriendly Death:
    • This technically happens to Tails in Alternate Timeline, though we don't actually read what happened.
    • In Tails vs. Tero, Tero is killed after Tails finally launches him off a cliff.
    • Lots of this in And Then, There Were Less.
  • "Fantastic Voyage" Plot: Anna does this to Sonic in her debut episode, New Fish in Town.
  • Grand Theft Me: Happens to Sonic when Anna controls his brain.
  • The Hero's Journey: Amy has to escape her town after it's attack by Dr. Eggman in Shattered Family. In The Adventure, Sonic has to fight Eggman while Tails and Cream find their way home. And in Sonic's Adventure, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles go on a journey to stop Chaos.
  • Post-Victory Collapse: After Tails beats Tero, he collapses.
  • Parental Abandonment: Tails' parents were kidnapped by Eggman when he was five.
  • Serial Killer: The entire plot of And Then, There Were Less is that there's a serial killer in the mansion, it later turns out to be Christine the Fox.
  • Shipping: Tailream. "The Wedding" has them getting married.
  • Taking the Fight Outside: After Tails and Amy finish the cafeteria, they finish the rest of the school.
