Honoka's Bizarre Adventure: µ's Is Unbreakable is a crossover between JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable and Love Live!. The fic was published in 2018 and is currently ongoing.

In 2014, the idol group µ's already has their hand full trying to prevent their school Otonokisaka from closing. That is until a mysterious arrow is fired at Honoka, granting her new powers. Now the idols find themselves pulled into a battle between Stand Users, fighting against those that would use the Arrow's power for evil.

It can be read on Archive of our Own, SpaceBattles, or on Fanfiction.net.

‘’Honoka's Bizarre Adventure’’ contains examples of:

  • Adaptation Amalgamation: The Love Live side of the crossover is primarily the anime, but it also uses elements from other media.
    • Hanayo's mother being a former school idol is from School Idol Diary.
    • Maki wanting to join her friend Omine at UTX before her parents made her enroll in Otonoki is from the manga continuity.
  • Adaptational Badass:
  • Adaptational Backstory Change: When she was young, Nozomi ran away from her parents in Cario when they didn't let her go to her grandfather's funeral. She used her Stand to lead a gang of children before being defeated by Avdol.
  • Adaptational Villainy: An adult version Hayato Kawajiri is working under Kira and the Yoshida Conglomerate
  • Arc Villain
    • Yoshikawa Fuhai in the first three chapters
    • Yanigihori from Chapters 5 to 23, though Wakaki and Kira briefly take over this position in Chapters 13-15
    • Yoshikage Kira finally becomes the next major villain in Chapter 27 and onwards, after spending most of the fic in the background up to that point other than giving Wakaki orders.
  • Ascended Extra: Fumiko in the anime was just one of Honoka's classmates and usually just appeared alongside Hideko and Mika. In the story, she becomes a Stand user alongside her classmates and becomes a Guest-Star Party Member in the "To Omine" arc for Maki and Nozomi, along with having her life outside of school expanded such as her parents' divorce. She ends up getting A Death in the Limelight in chapter 28 during her fight against Yoshikage Kira.
  • The Call Knows Where You Live: A villainous example. Yoshikage Kira's quiet life in Morioh came to an end when the Yoshida Conglomerate, his father's employer, took notice of his Stand [Killer Queen] and its benefit in quietly eliminating their enemies. This lead him to rise up the ranks to an executive position against his desire's for a non-stressful existence.
  • Children Forced to Kill: Honoka's journey as a Stand user begins with an encounter with the criminal stand user Yoshikawa Fuhai, who attacked her family's candy shop and nearly killed her parents. After facing him in a battle to the death where she unlocks her Stand's powers, Honoka realizes that if she lets him live, he'll return to threaten her loved ones again. So she uses her Stands to break apart his flattened, wall-attached body into pieces. While it was self-defense as he tried to kill her and Yoshikawa is still alive (albeit in literal pieces and unable to reform) the experience is haunting for Honoka, seeing herself as a murderer.
  • The Chooser of the One: The pink-Stand wielding the arrow and shooting it at those that were most compatible, regardless of morality
  • Contrived Coincidence: After their first run-in, Honoka would see Fuhai Yoshikawa again later that night when he breaks in and robs her parents' sweet store.
  • Crossover Relatives: Kotori's Disappeared Dad is Noriaki Kakyoin.
  • Disc-One Final Boss: Yanigihori and her group of Stand User Delinquents serve as the villains for a portion of the story after Fuhai's defeat, but are ultimately beaten and make peace with the heroes 23 Chapters into the fic, just in time for Yoshikage Kira to take center stage as the next main antagonist.
  • Expy:
    • Kotori is one for Josuke, being a Heroic Bastard who is also the teams Combat Medic and a child of a Jojos Bizarre Adventure character from a previous part.
    • Nozomi’s background makes her one to Iggy. Both of them were once criminals who used their Stands to create their own gangs (Iggy in New York and Nozomi in Egypt) before their defeat by Avdol. It's downplayed, as while Iggy remains a Jerk with a Heart of Gold after his debut in Part 3, Nozomi's training under Avdol and her late grandfather's guidance lead her to become the Team Mom she is in the present-day.
    • Yoshikawa Fuhai has quite a few similarities to Angelo from Part 4. They're both psychotic Stand wielding criminals who threaten the main character and their family as well as motivate them into becoming a hero, they've both murdered one of their own parents in the past (Angelo killed his dad in the live action movie, while Fuhai killed his mom for her inherentance money), and both of them are ultimately dealt a Fate Worse than Death upon their defeats, though Fuhai's was unintentional and unknown on Honoka's part, and is played more seriously compared to Angelo's darkly humorous fate.
    • Fumiko Nikaido, Honoka’s classmate, is ultimately one for Shingechi, a Colony Stand user that’s friends with the protagonists and is killed by Kira, but not before sending a clue to aid the heroes in finding him.
  • I Work Alone: Ayase Eli originally believes this, believing herself the only one capable of fighting off the antagonistic Stand users, acquiring the arrow, and preventing Otonokizaka from closing down. This is even reflected in her Stand, which is an armor type that let's her fight Stands directly. She finally accepts Honoka's help in the final fight against Yanigihori's gang, and like in canon joins µ's so they can save their school together.
  • Kiai: Wouldn't be a JoJo crossover without one. Honoka's battle cry with [[All Star]] is Faito Daiyo, her idol stage cry.
  • Magic Idol Singer: The girls of µ are now Stand users and use them to fight dangerous Users while performing as idols. Kotori even compares themselves to Magical Girls from the Pretty Cure franchise.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Aya's reaction when she realized her efforts to boost Rin's self-esteem with Cinderella only ended up making it worse.
  • Never Be Hurt Again: When Honoka requests that Nico join µ, her Stand [Circus] intervenes, not wanting Nico to be potentially betrayed as she had by the previous idol club back in her First Year.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Kira going to Otonokisaka despite being banned from entering after trying to recruit (read:murder) the girls of µ for the Yoshida Conglomerate and killing Fumiko is what leads the protagonists to deduce that he is both Fumiko and Reimi's killer, and that the Yoshida Conglomerate is likely involved.
  • Objectshifting: Inverted with Rin's Stand 「Cat Scratch Fever!」, which releases a venom that turn inanimate objects into cats which Rin can control and she isn't allergic to.
  • Original Character: Numerous original stand users, including Yanigihori, her gang of Stand users, and the Yoshida Conglomerate.
  • Paper Tiger: As much as Nico’s [Circus] boast about her strength and her powers, it takes one punch from Honoka’s [All Star] to knock her down.
  • Revenge Before Reason: Defied by Nozomi, who tells Honoka and Maki to stay in the Ghost Ally and cool their heads so neither of them (especially Honoka) won’t recklessly go after Kira after he killed Fumiko.
  • Secret-Keeper:
    • Hanayo and Nico about Kotori's secret maid work as Minalinsky in Akihabara
    • Regarding Rin being a trans girl, only her parents, Hanayo and the school faculty know she was designated male at birth. Hanayo would later share this with the other members of µ so they can better support Rin.
  • See the Invisible: Stands are normally Invisible to Normals, and their nature as Fighting Spirits means that cameras can't catch them. Hayato's [Violent Pornography] neutralizes both by making any video recording of Stands visible to everyone.
  • Seinfeldian Conversation: In chapter 28, Honoka and Kotori have a debate of whether the Pretty Cure will last and if Shoenen or Shoujo is better, right before they get Fumiko's dying message.
  • Starter Villain: Yoshikawa Fuhai is the first evil Stand User Honoka encounters not long after gaining her powers, and he's the main antagonist of the first 3 chapters before being defeated.
  • To Unmasque the World: The Yoshida Conglomerate's ultimate plan is to expose Stands to the public. Using Hayato Kawajiri's Stand [Violent Pornography] and the various Stand-wielding idols during the Love Live! event, they plan to make Stands visible through electronic media for both Stand users and non-Stand users.
  • Trans Tribulations: Rin has low self-esteem regarding being a trans girl. She especially fears that if her secret was exposed it could ruin µ’s reputation.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: Inverted with Nozomi. Before she was the kindhearted Team Mom, she was once a child gang leader that used her Stand [Ace of Spade] to reign havoc in Cairo, reigning for two years before her encounter with Mohammed Avdol, who defeats her and later helps treats her burn injuries from her fight. After Avdol teaches her about Stands they both posses, Nozomi was reminded of her late grandfather and his wish for her to use her gifts for good, realizing in horror how far she strayed from that path. She spent months training with Avdol in both her Stand and in tarot cards before returning to her parents in Japan so she can become the good girl her grandfather believed she could be.
  • Wham Line: After Minami Kotori has unlocked her Stand, she joins Hanayo and Nico against Kaori Kobayashi. Just when Kobayashi is about to overpower them, Kotori recalls the words her father once cried out to protect them, and uses those words in the finishing blow. Those words?
