The Hero's Chat is basically a chat fic connecting Paperinik New Adventures and Darkwing Duck together and fusing them with DuckTales (2017) canon written by bamboozledeagle.

• But You Ain't One is essentially a chat fic that fuses the ongoing and past events of Paperinik New Adventures, DuckTales (2017), and Darkwing Duck together.

• 99 Problems is a Spin-Off of the former giving a different perspective and expanding on the chat fic in normal fic format.

Tropes in Hero's Chat:

• The Berserker: Donald is shown to be one during multiple occasions but one notable example has to be during the "Shadow War" while fighting Gizmo duck's shadow, it's mentioned by Fenton later he tore his armor apart piece by piece with his bare hands.
• The Bus Came Back: Besides a few times Donald alluded to him, Uno was considered "dead" in Donald's eyes after being shut down by Everett Ducklair. It wasn't untill the Evronians came back again and the whole mess with time travel happened that Uno was finally able to make contact with Donald again.
• Creepy Good: Someone needs to inform Uno how his good deeds can come off looking really creepy. Just take a look at when Uno plays at being a anonymous protector torwards the children hacking their phones and sending them mysterious helpful texts. They can only deduce he knows exactly what they're doing at all time. Obviously, they're horrified but with time they come to understand that whoever their mysterious protector is- he's on their side. ...But he still comes off creepy.
• Guardian Entity: Uno plays this role well towards the children whenever they find themselves in danger or of need of help all through anonymous text messages. Whether, it's warning them against jumping from the second floor chandelier, not opening up dangerous closets, dodging in coming perils, or even something as simple as helping rewiring a tv. ...He also throughly creeps the kids out but he does his job as a anonymous protector well.
• Heroism Won't Pay the Bills: For Donald, this is all true while he was Paperinik he had to get another job to pay the bills. It's inverted in Gizmoduck and Darkwing Duck's case where they're paid to be a superhero much to Donald's subsequent irritation and annoyance.
• Playful Hacker: Uno does this easily hacking into everyone's phone, the security cameras, even S.H.U.S.H.'s secret files to acquire information that he wants or just to keep an eye on you.
• Refusal of the Call: Donald tries this for some years untill he befriends Darkwing and Gizmoduck. Before he knows it, he's promoted to being a Part-Time Hero as emergency backup for them. Later on, the Evronians came back and he's forced back in the role full-time again.
• Retired Badass: Something Donald was before Darkwing Duck and Gizmoduck appeared in his life. Although, he's only a Part-Time Hero, he's stubborn not to go full-time for a time untill he's forced to take the role again later.
• The Reveal: It's Played for Laughs when Gizmoduck figured out Darkwing and Paperinik's Secret Identity. When the triplets and Scrooge found out about Paperinik, they didn't take it nearly as well. Scrooge wanted Donald to retire from the superhero gig and the triplets were really upset that their uncle was keeping secrets from them. Eventually, they did forgive him and let him keep being Paperinik as long as he gave them constant updates on the job.

• Running Gag: Everytime, one of the members of the chat group accidentally texts Scrooge and mentions something superhero related that almost spirals into a reveal, they have to go fix it. To make the matter worse, this happens multiple times through out the fic. It's gotten to the point where they nicknamed it "Pulling a Drake" because he was the first one to do it much to his irritation.
• Seen It All: Donald all the way. His life is the perfect example of this. Between playing superhero, going on adventures with his family since he was the triplets age, or being one of the Three Callabrano's... not many things can flabbergast him anymore.
• Trauma Button: Tragically, pointed out by Uno, ever since Nega-Uno stabbed Paperinik, almost ending his life, by tricking him and masquerading as Uno, Donald had been suffering PTSD every since and panics whenever he looks at a certain shade of green.
