Heroes From Another World is a Fusion Fic between Amphibia and Kamen Rider, specifically Kamen Rider Agitonote  written by Michael Ravencroft.

While in the land of Amphibia, Anne Boonchuy, Sasha Waybright, and Marcy Wu all unlock incredible powers given to them by the Calamity Box, becoming Kamen Rider Amp, Kamen Rider Bellona, and Kamen Rider Ranger respectively. Using this power, they fight off mysterious monsters known as the Fallen, servants of an entity only known as the Night, all while trying to reunite with each other. However, the conflict with the Night is more complicated than expected...

The fic, part of the Disney Riders series can be read on Archive of Our Own here, and on Fanfiction Dot Net here.

Heroes From Another World provides examples of:

  • Adaptation Expansion: In Marcy's Theme Song Takeover, she mentions she fought a cult during her time as a Newtopian Ranger. This fic connects them to the Night, with the leader eventually becoming a Fallen himself.
  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Marcy’s betrayal hurts Anne and Sasha far more than in canon thanks to both of them being in a relationship with her. Ironically, Anne isn’t as mad at Sasha as she is with Marcy, judging from a dream she has when she’s back on Earth.
  • Adaptational Badass:
    • Anne, Sasha, and Marcy tap into their Calamity powers much earlier than in canon thanks to being Kamen Riders.
    • In canon, King Andrias' strength came not just from his size, but also his experience and advanced weaponry. In this fic, he becomes a very powerful Fallen.
    • Thanks to synchronizing with Anne, Domino 2 becomes Kamen Rider Amp's third vehicle, Tempest.
    • The Core lacks a lot of the weaknesses it had in canon after becoming Kamen Rider Terminus. Now it doesn't need to rely on having that large power cord connect to its helmet. And that's not even getting into its true form...
  • Adaptational Early Appearance:
    • After his debut episode, Tritonio doesn't appear again until Season 3's "Newts in Tights". In this fanfic, Anne runs into Tritionio during "Control", which takes place during the events of "Swamp and Sensibility".
    • By virtue of being revealed to be the Night all along, the Core is this.
  • Adaptational Relationship Overhaul:
    • Anne, Sasha, and Marcy all develop feelings for each other, and are dating by the end of the fic.
    • Likewise, Sprig and Ivy start dating Maddie.
    • Lily was revealed to have had a crush on Andrias when they were younger.
    • Oddly enough, this is a case where it applies to a Hive Mind of all things. In canon, Darcy served as the avatar for the Core and did most of the talking with the occasional mention of Aldrich. In this story, Aldrich and Darcy are shown communicating with each other more often and tend to get into disagreements on what kinds of strategies they should use to accomplish their goals. In addition, since Marcy has feelings for Anne, Darcy is more considerate of Anne and worries about her, albeit in a more possessive way. It's because of these feelings that the Core decides to delete Darcy from their hive mind.
  • Ascended Fangirl: Marcy is a huge fan of the Kamen Rider shows, so being a real Kamen Rider is a dream come true for her.
  • Avengers Assemble: When Andrias and Darcy invade Earth, Tsukasa assembles a team of Riders consisting of Shoichi Tsugami/Kamen Rider Agito, Vee Noceda/Kamen Rider V, Dipper and Mabel Pines/Kamen Rider Gemini, Oum Boonchuy/Kamen Rider GX-02 and Bee Boonchuy/Kamen Rider GX-01 to help Anne for the final battle.
  • Brick Joke: When a Fallen attack interrupts Marcy and Anne’s dinner at a Newtopian restaurant, Anne jokingly tells the waitress that they’ll need their food to go. After the battle, the waitress who served them earlier comes over with their orders in bags, so Anne and Marcy decide to eat in the fwagon instead.
  • Brought Down to Normal: While Anne, Marcy, and Sasha take on the trials of the three temples, they're temporarily unable to use their Rider powers as a way to not make the test too easy.
  • Canon Character All Along: The Night turns out to be another name for the Core.
  • Cool Bike: In typical Kamen Rider fashion, Anne, Marcy, and Sasha get their own bikes in Rider form, with wheels created from their respective elements.
  • Cliffhanger: Darcy will return...
  • Elemental Powers: Amp, Ranger, and Bellona have powers relating to lightning, wind, and fire respectively.
  • Heroic Mime: Before Anne gains full control over her Rider powers, she is usually silent when fighting as Amp. Hop Pop lampshades this in one chapter as he tries to talk with her as she fights off a Fallen on the top of the fwagon he's driving.
Hop Pop: How's it goin' back there?
    Anne/Kamen Rider Amp: ...
Hop Pop: Forgot, not a big talker when yer like this!
  • Hero of Another Story: Kamen Rider Gemini, AKA, Dipper and Mabel Pines, is this. The two use their experience to help mentor Anne while she's back in the human world.
  • Kryptonite Ring: Sasha gives Sprig a dart laced with a powerful poison to use on her in the event that she snaps or becomes evil. She chose to give it to Sprig because she doesn't believe Grime could do it.
  • Mythology Gag: During a news report detailing Anne's first battle on Earth as Amp, the reporter states that in this world, Kamen Rider was created by Hotaru Ichinose, who sounds very similar to Shotaro Ishinomori.
  • Not So Above It All: When Marcy goes off to a fancy ball with Anne as her plus one, King Andrias and Lady Olivia make a bet on whether Marcy will confess her feelings for Anne or not.
    • Sprig manages to rally several of Wartwood's citizens to help make sure Anne and Marcy have a great first date, including Mayor Toadstool, who bursts out into tears just before Toadie can turn down Sprig.
  • Shipper on Deck: Several of the supporting cast are in favor of Anne and Marcy's relationship, but Sprig is arguably the biggest supporter of MarcAnne.
  • Shout-Out: During Sprig's plan to get Anne and Marcy to realize their feelings for each other, he gets the help of a newt named Sebastian, who sings "Kiss the Girl".
    • In Chapter 10, after Amp and Ranger beat a Fallen, the two do a fist bump while saying "Pound It". This is a shout out to the french animated series Miraculous Ladybug where the titular hero and their partner do the same after every fight.
    • The detective who was in charge of the missing persons case revolving around Anne, Sasha, and Marcy is named Nancy Drew, and she is very aware of how similar her name is to the fictional character.
  • Slipping a Mickey: Marcy's tea is drugged by a Newtopian elitist who was actually the leader of a cult she took down in the past. The leader in question does it so he can offer Marcy as a sacrifice to get his revenge.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Just like his first appearance in canon, Tritonio’s training helps Anne out in the long run, as it’s because of him that she is able to fully control her powers as Amp.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: The Curator is merely scared off by Anne instead of being murdered by all the creatures he captured for the Curiosity Hut.
  • Spit Take: Anne does a very long one of these when Marcy asks her about the idea of the two of them entering a relationship with Sasha.
  • Tranquil Fury: Just when Anne and Marcy are about to kiss thanks to the efforts of Sprig, a Fallen that the two Riders had supposedly defeated comes back to attack them. Marcy is naturally unhappy at the Fallen ruining the moment, and while she explains how it could have survived, she speaks in an eerily calm tone before subjecting it to a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown that even King Andrias is shocked by while he watches in the distance.
King Andrias: Wow, something must have happened to really tick her off.
  • Wham Shot: When Director Keisuke introduces himself to a teenage boy, he offers him something Kamen Rider fans will recognize: a Gaia Memory.
