This fanfic provides examples of:
- Adaptational Badass: Pretty much every student is this. Due to a quirk gas causing extreme mutations and killing most of Japan's children population.
- Inko is a former soldier with all the skill that it implies.
- Action Survivor: Class 1A who had to escape captivity by an insane AI and battle bioweapons.
- Badass in Distress: When Izuku and Inko are captured by the Troupe to serve as entertainment in the arena. They break out and brutalize the people responsible.
- Break Them by Talking: Izuku does this to a doll while curbstomping it. Which would later lead to it rebelling against the Troupe and forming its own faction.
- Hypocrite: A large number of enemies fall into this territory because of their ideologies, but the Troupe especially.
- Shout-Out: Numerous weapons that the Troupe deploys are based off of enemies from games like Resident Evil.
- Izuku's powers are copied from numerous games as well like Elder Scrolls, Borderlands, Destiny, etc.
- Sucky School: Izuku's school is this to the extreme. The students are quirkist and the teachers actively encourage it. This is because it's one of the Troupe operating centers to upend society. There's even a record of the school's history that Izuku gives to Nighteye to shut down the school.
