Fox Tails and Whirlpools
is a crossover fanfic with Naruto & Fate/EXTRA by the author Cosmic Sky. It involves Hakuno & Tamamo being warped by the Moon Cell to the Naruto world along with several enemies & allies.
Tropes:
- Alternate Self: Several of the servants included are different from their versions in FGO. Euryale, Eric Bloodaxe, Caligula, Krimheld and likely Orion and Asterius/Minotaur.
- Bait-and-Switch: One of the pairs mentioned is Stefano & BB, but it was actually shorthand for The Big Bad Wolf.
- Happily Adopted: Naruto is this for Hakuno & Tamamo.
- Hate Sink: Church Executor Comstock establishes himself as a complete monster the first time he shows up.
- I Need a Freaking Drink: Nameless says this at the end of the prologue to Artoria after everyone gets warped away while they're still on the Moon Cell.
- In Spite of a Nail: The Uchiha Massacre still ends up happening.
- Mistaken Identity: Tamamo initially believes Naruto to be a kitsune like her.
- Original Character: The characterizations of Servants that haven't been written about in other works & the masters in the story. The final 2 of the Tamamo Nine are Shark and the other is named Scorn.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Several of Hakuno's enemies are going on one to get to him and Tamamo.
- Rogues Gallery: Hakuno's includes the Church, the Harwey Family, the Mafia, the Tamamo Nine, Sakagami & Suzuka, Euryale & her master, Guan Yu & his master, Etc.
- Took a Level in Badass: Hakuno went from being an NPC who could barely serve as a Master to fighting a Counter Guardian Fallen Angel Kokabiel and a psychopathic Priest by himself.
- Even before he arrived in the Naruto world he apparently punched out a feared Mafia assassin's heart with his bare hands.
