Disney Riders is a series of fusion fics incorporating elements of Kamen Rider into various Disney shows like The Owl House and Amphibia made by Michael Ravencroft.

The general idea revolves around several characters becoming Kamen Riders and needing to fight off monsters threatening various worlds.

The series can be read on Archive of Our Own here

The stories in the series are:

  1. Bring Us Hope, Kamen Rider Witch!
  2. Heroes From Another World
  3. Kamen Rider X Kamen Rider Amp & Witch: Heroes Unite!
  4. The Mystery Twins Investigate: A Kamen Rider Story
  5. Kamen Rider Witch Alternative: The Ballad of Oscura
  6. Kamen Rider X Kamen Rider Witch & Amp: The Dark Side of Hope
  7. Kamen Rider Amp Alternative: The Broken Hearted
  8. Kamen Rider SideRide Chronicles: Oscura's Encore
  9. Oscura's Encore the Movie: Return to the Boiling Isles

The Disney Riders series contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Badass: The main characters of The Owl House, Amphibia and even Gravity Falls all become Kamen Riders here.
  • Ambiguous Situation: It's not made clear if Luz comes from the same Earth as Anne, Marcy, and Sasha. The Mystery Twins Investigate: A Kamen Rider Story eventually confirms that this is the case.
  • Big Good: Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade, serves as a pseudo-mentor for the Riders whenever he encounters them, though he prefers to not get too involved so he doesn't interfere with their journeys.
  • Darker and Edgier: The cartoons making up these stories could get pretty serious but still kept a light hearted tone at times. These stories get much more serious given they’re half based on a franchise usually featuring superheroes fighting for their lives and the lives of others.
  • Evil Counterpart: Luz and Anne each have their own evil doppelgangers from alternate universes, Kamen Rider Oscura and Kamen Rider Calamity. While it's not clear if they're a rider yet like their Pines counterparts, Mason and Mabel Gleeful have access to Gaia Memories too. And while the alternate Luz Noceda doesn't have magic anymore, there's a chance that Empress Oscura is still in her head..
  • Greater-Scope Villain: Oscura has influenced the other stories of this series a few times, and has plans to conquer the multiverse. Once she's defeated, Mason and Mabel Gleeful seem to become the next overarching threat.
