Dangansworld is a crossover of Eddsworld and Danganronpa.
Edd wakes up in a classroom and finds himself (and his friends) in a killing game, alongside being given "Ultimate" Talents. There's no way that these people would actually commit murder, though, right?
Dangansworld provides examples of:
- Alas, Poor Villain: The end of Kim's trial treats her as sympathetic.
- Anyone Can Die: Even Tord, the Ultimate Soldier.
- Big Bad: Monokuma, as is for the canon Danganronpa series.
- Body of the Week: A staple for the Danganronpa series.
- Continuity Nod: During trial 2, when Mark is asked how he knows about Little Tom, he responds that he was there when the toy was introduced, a reference to his cameo in Fun Dead.
- Deadly Game: Another staple for the Danganronpa series.
- Deadly Graduation: How to escape.
- Empty Chair Memorial:
- Tord has an X covering the entire left side of his face, mimicking his fate in The End.
- Kim has a K rather than an X.
- Larry has a regular X along with his mouth being marked out.
- Hates Being Alone: Hellucard comes off as this. He follows Edd along most of the time, much to Edd's annoyance.
- Idiot Hair: Edd is given this, showing how he is the protagonist.
- I'll Kill You!: Various characters give this threat to Monokuma, notably Eduardo.
- Lights Off, Somebody Dies: The second trial's murder was done during the blackout.
- The Mole: The motive for Chapter 1 is the fact that the mastermind is among them.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Kim has this moment at the end of their trial, when realizing that their victim wasn't the mastermind.
- Recurring Element: For the Danganronpa series;
- Edd is given Idiot Hair, showing how he is the protagonist.
- Someone who is set up to be important is killed first.
- Tom and Matt serve as the "support" characters that help the protagonist through the cases. Whether or not they're good support is another question...
- Red Herring:
- Hellucard and Katya for Trial 2.
- Say My Name: "KIM!", by Katya, after her execution.
- The Bully: All of the neighbors (sans Todd), to varying degrees.
- Two Girls to a Team: After trial 1, Katya and Laurel are the only two girls left.
- Win Your Freedom: The prize for murdering someone is freedom.
