Code Geass: Numbers Reshuffled is a crossover fanfiction story between Code Geass and Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL by SeerKing. In this universe, Maximilian Pegasus was born the older brother of Charles, making him Lelouch's uncle. While hiding in Area 11, the exiled prince finds himself mixed up in the conflict for the Numbers cards, sending him on a grand adventure.

This work contains examples of:

  • Abdicate the Throne: Several years after Duel Monsters exploded in popularity, Maximilian offered to forgo any claim to the throne in exchange for 95% of the profits the game made. This actually saved his life as the Emblem of Blood Period happened a year later.
  • Adaptational Name Change: Maximilian Pegasus is named Maximilian pe Britannia here, as he is the older brother of Charles and a member of the Britannian Royal Family. Tori has a downplayed version; her full name is Victoria, but she still goes by Tori.
  • Adaptational Superpower Change: Charles does not seem to have his canonical Geass, as he used a Brainwash Magic Card to erase Maximilian's memories of Victor instead via the ability to manifest card powers in reality.
  • Banned in China: In-Universe, both China and the E.U. have foiled any plans by Maximilian to officially export them to said countries, largely because he's Britannian royalty, much to his annoyance.
  • Battle Couple: Lelouch and Milly are dating at the start of the story, even having a duel together in Chapter 2 against a father-son team. A watching Kallen realizes that Milly has built her entire playstyle to support Lelouch in tag-team duels.
  • Clark Kenting: When Lelouch sees Kaguya in the tournament wearing civilian clothes as a disguise, he recognizes her immediately, in part because she didn’t do anything different with her hair. Her choice of alias isn’t very creative either.
  • Cool Uncle: Maximilian is one to Lelouch, even giving him a very rare Dark Magician card. In fact, Lelouch counts him as one of the few family members he likes and/or respects, which can be counted on one hand.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: All of Lelouch's duels that we've seen so far have him easily defeating his opponents.
  • Difficult, but Awesome: Lelouch's "Infernity" deck in a nutshell, even In-Universe, with Lelouch being near-unbeatable with it with how skilled he is despite how nuts his combos are.
  • Fusion Fic: The story combines the setting and plot elements of both Code Geass and Yu-Gi-Oh!, particularly the ZEXAL saga, though Duel Disks are still in the prototype stage at the story's start like in the first arc of the original series.
  • Harem Seeker: Milly is one by proxy, working on getting at least one other girl in her relationship with Lelouch. She was considering Shirley, but due to the orangette's jealousy she's switched targets to Tori instead.
  • It Will Never Catch On: When Maximilian created Duel Monsters as a way for people from all walks of life in the Britannian Empire to come together and enjoy themselves, the royal court all thought of him as naïve. Five years later, and the game has become insanely popular across Britannia.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: When it becomes clear that Ursula Snow can't beat Zero, she forfeits.
  • Lazy Alias: Kaguya’s alias for the tournament is “Kagu”, literally just the first portion of her name.
  • Oblivious to Love: When trying to put together a deck for the underground dueling club, Lelouch kept losing to Milly, and made a bet saying that he'd do anything she wanted, within reason, if she beat him thrice in a row. Once she does, she immediately gives him a kiss. It takes a dozen more kisses over a period of three months for Lelouch to ask why Milly insists on kissing him, not expecting her blunt reply that she likes him. And even then it took half-a-year of Milly wearing him down before he finally asked her out.
  • Polyamory: As is common in Seer King's stories, the description states that Lelouch will have a harem as the story goes on. He begins the story dating only Milly. Said girl is looking to rope Tori Meadows in, and would be considering Shirley if the other girl wasn't so jealous of her and Lelouch.
  • Related in the Adaptation:
    • Lelouch is the nephew of the man who invented Duel Monsters in this universe. On his father's side.
    • Nina Einstein and Tori Meadows are cousins in this universe, having moms that are twin sisters.
  • Sneeze Cut: When Lelouch sees Kaguya, he thinks to himself that only she would think a pair of sunglasses and a hat equals "master disguise". A quick cut to the Middle East has someone else who thinks that sneezing, said person being Euphemia.
  • Stupid Sexy Flanders: Nina is a lesbian through-and-through, but even she gets a reaction from seeing Lelouch in a suit. He looks that good when he dresses up.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Lelouch is rather surprised to see that Kaguya has become such a ruthlessly efficient duelist, remembering his time at the Shrine where he defeated her easily because she focused more on how cute her monsters were rather than on strategy.
  • Vapor Wear: It's clear to Lelouch that Milly isn't wearing a bra under the dress she's wearing to their date in Chapter 3. He notes that she doesn't seem to be wearing panties either.
  • Worthy Opponent: Lelouch feels this way about Jonathan after their duel, complimenting his skills.
