- Aborted Arc: Leafy becoming a serial killer after being exiled to YoyleLand, Golf Ball being rejected by her team in BFDIADO 8, and a lot of other arcs that were dropped with BFB 1 were effectively abandoned. But BFDIADO is incomplete for now so that may change later.
- Adaptational Gender Identity: Winner and Profily, who are both non-binary, are rewritten as male using male pronouns in this fanfic because of Richmountain112's beliefs on gender.
- A Dog Named "Dog": Pretty much everyone on this show, except David, Dora, and Yellow Face.
- Adorable Abomination: Four and X, as usual.
- Alpha Bitch: Pencil acts a lot like one in BFB, leading to her elimination in the next episode.
- Anyone Can Die: Though with Four means that Death Is Cheap. Unless Four is gone.
- Bait-and-Switch: Same as canon during the fourth challenge, when Team BEEP presents a cake in the shape of Four. Once asked how they made it, a flashback leads the viewers to think that it’s Rocky vomiting onto a plate. But it’s really Woody spreading frosting onto that said plate and David groaning in disgust. And then the frosting is revealed to be Rocky’s barf.
- The Cameo: Lots of them, including pups from the PAW Patrol, the Koopalings, and several more. None of them get major roles outside a few linesnote
- Death by Cameo: Any time a non-contestant cameos at Cake at Stake (With the exception of the crowd of Recommended Characters)
- Eject the Loser: Four sucks up the eliminated contestants into the EXIT. In BFBNS 16, the failed debuters (except Nonexisty, who can't be flung) are flung to Hotel OJ, which is implied to be in South Goiky.
- For Want of a Nail: When Two would have shown up or when Fries and Fanny would have convinced 38 others to quit, Four mutilates Fanny to keep the show in 1 piece.
- In Spite of a Nail: Even though no one quit, Loser (and now Liy) rejoin unfairly anyways.
- Joke Character: Subverted with Nonexisty. Despite literally being made of nothing, he then congratulates Winner for winning in BFBNS 16.
- Make an Example of Them: Four mutilates Fanny in BFBNS 16, preventing the show from splitting because she changed her mind once she was recovered.
- Match Cut: Non-visual example - Every episode would have a character doing the same pose as Four in the intro (raising their left hands up), and then cutting to Four in the intro just like canon. note

Missing Episode: The canon episodes of BFB after BFB 4 are skipped straight to the AU split. It is often assumed that the audience watched BFB first, though, and they are planned later on. - Never My Fault: Foldy blames everything on Liy after she unfairly rejoins.
- Nice Mean And In Between: For Pencil's alliance, Pencil's mean to Bubble and Ruby's Nice with Match's in between.
- Painted Tunnel, Real Train: Double Subverted in BFBNS 22 - When Blocky paints a tunnel, at first glance there was a train in it but then it was revealed to be fake. Then Blocky digs further and actually gets into a train tunnel.
- Running Gag: Several of them
- Bottle: "It's time to start preventing death." (Someone dies) "And [person who died] is dead."
- Four: "Due to (In-Universe) Budget Cuts, we had to [sell something related to the challenge and/or cake] so we have [insert actual challenge / cake here]."
- Death by Cameo:
Four: "What are you doing here? You're [Something related to not being allowed here]."The Cameo: "What? [An excuse to convince Four]"Four: "Whatever." (Flings the cameo away) - Shoehorned Acronym: The Eternal XAlgebra IClass WithFour, otherwise known as the EXIT, is where contestants are eliminated in this season.
- Toilet Humor: Epsiode 23 contains some when Clock's frog pees on him after being declared safe.
- Unrealistic Black Hole: Black Hole himself is one of these.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Pencil is the first boot this time, because of her incredibly harsh attitude towards Bubble almost resembling bullying.
