The Bare Squadron Logo
The Bare Squadron is a Star Wars fanfiction project with the Prime version written by Travolore
& the Ravagers version written by BlakeSkies with both versions available to read on Deviantart.The story is about various naturist rebel cells fighting against the Galactic Empire and other enemies in the galaxy. It began as a roleplay by Valyrian Wildfire before drawing in other users, both writers and artists, to create their own nude Original Characters.
Bare Squadron provides examples of:
- Absurdly Youthful Mother: Mera Pyso.resembles a women half her age.
- Academy of Evil: The Inquisitorius academy on Mustafar.
- Artificial Limbs: Jace Pyso has both a robotic arm and leg.
- Belligerent Sexual Tension: Phara and Bandon may have crossed that border.
- Better Off with the Bad Guys: Phara's reason for joining the Empire. She and Cal were living homeless on the lawless planet, Nar Shadda, all by themselves before the Blademaster came and took them in.
- Exposed Extraterrestrials: A lot the characters in the story are aliens who mostly go nude.
- Facial Markings: Most members of the Pyso family have Dathomiri facial tattoos.
- Intimate Marks: Phara and Mera have Dathomiri markings all over their bodies.
- Lady of Black Magic: Mera is quite the sorceress almost rivaling in terms of power and knowledge.
- Mama Bear: Mera loves her children dearly and would protect them with all her might.
- Modesty Bedsheet: Cal wore a bedsheet after his clothes were destroyed in the first chapter. He later gets used to life without it. After being rescued, Alana wrapped herself in a bedsheet, but eventually abandoned it.
- Naked First Impression: Cal gets two of these where Kara is concerned — one in a Force vision, one when he actually meets her.
- No Dress Code: The Rebelion seems to have no problem with people just going nude.
- Open-Minded Parent: Mera & Jace are quite open parents to an extent
- Parental Sexuality Squick: Happens to Cal and Phara at or about the end of The Warrior and the Witch.
- Playful Hacker: Lanei is a hacker and a very zany one at that.
- Raised by Natives: Kara is a human who was raised by Wookiees after her parents were killed.
- Skinny Dipping: Cal and Kara en route to meet the Bendu. Pretty much everybody who visits Gymnos 1.
- Wardrobe Malfunction: Happens to Phara during her duel with Cal on Felucia.
