The supernatural have always disregarded the beings of the natural world, seeing them as powerless and weak. But when an ancient evil is awakened and sets out to destroy the world, the supernatural will come to learn that the natural world isn't as helpless as they once thought.
This fic provides examples of:
- Adaptational Heroism: Emma Russell does not play a part in freeing Ghidorah since her and Alan Jonah's role in doing the deed is replaced by the Old Satan Faction.
- Adapted Out: Alan Jonah does not make any appearance in this fic, with his role in releasing Ghidorah and attacking Mothra going to the Old Satan Faction and Rivezim Lucifer, respectively.
- Behemoth Battle: Par for the course when it comes to Godzilla and his ilk.
- Canon Immigrant: Otachi and Hakuja, two Kaiju from the Pacific Rim franchise, show up as members of the Titans.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: A group of Old Satan Faction devils release Ghidorah from his icy prison in an attempt to make him their personal weapon. Ghidorah has none of this and promptly obliterates them in short order.
- Destroyer Deity: Yatagarasu's role in the Titan ecosystem is to scour dying areas of life to allow new life to spring forth, making it directly opposite to Mothra's mission of giving life.
- Expy: Yatagarasu is pretty much a dead ringer for Yvetal in terms of overall appearance and powers.
- Foil: Both Yatagarasu and Ghidorah are destroyers, but that's where the similarities end for both beasts:
- While Ghidorah's destructive actions are all out of malice and sadism, Yatagarasu only destroys things because his role is to ensure that life can spring anew.
- Ghidorah is a Light Is Not Good Draconic Abomination while Yatagarasu is a Dark Is Not Evil monster bird.
- Gender Flip: Battra is Mothra's twin sister in this continuity since both divine moths are female.
- Humanity Ensues: Godzilla gains a human form from his body's own radiation mixing with the magical energies introduced into his body by Yasaka when she healed him during his battle against Ghidorah.
- Story Arc: The story is divided into the following arcs:
- Chapter 1-3: Battle for Kyoto Arc
- Chapter 4: Dominion Arc
- Chapter 5-9: Kyoto Arc
- Chapter 11: Rating Game Exhibition
- Chapter 12-???: Mothra Rebirth Arc
- Too Dumb to Live: The Old Satan Faction devils who discovered Ghidorah thought they could control the giant space dragon. Needless to say, they quickly realized how badly they screwed up when Ghidorah tears through them without a sweat, and the ones who did escape mainly did so because Godzilla showed up and inadvertently rescued them.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Played With; Ophis fiddling with a random hole in the Dimensional Gap and absorbing the cosmic radiation emanating from it leads to the worlds of DxD and Godzilla getting fused together, with all the good and bad such an action entails.
