A Doll's Inner Demons is a Fanfic by Modern_Sky. It is a Crossover between Persona 3 and Girls' Frontline.

He had died intending to prevent the Fall. He awoke to discover it had already happened. Yet, as a means to delay their demise, humanity had found an alternate sacrifice. One which blurred the lines between man and machine. The problem was these new tools of theirs just happened to be the Answer. Well, that, and also the fact he'd sworn to protect them. "Your orders, Commander?"

A Doll's Inner Demons contains examples of:

  • After the End: Girl's Frontline takes place after the onset of World War Three and had to deal with the ELID Outbreak, but that isn't really brought up until the later chapters of the game. Here, however, Minato ends up exposed front and center to the state of the world when he finds himself in a mostly abandoned city and has to seek aid from scavengers.
  • An Offer You Can't Refuse: Helian makes one to Minato, following the latter revealing himself to Squad 404 while trying to protect G41 - he can join Griffin and Kryueger as a commander candidate and all will be forgiven, or he will be killed, both to recover g41 and to ensure that Squad 404's existence remains a secret.
  • Beyond the Impossible: Squad 404 explicitly states that waking up G41 after they knock her out should be impossible. The power of the Wildcard begs to differ.
  • Born Lucky: Despite his rather crappy life up until this point, Minato seems to be blessed with amazing luck when it comes to gathering T-Dolls - his first echelon consists of the G36 sisters, Springfield, FN-Five-Seven and W2000. And all of them joined due to his personality.
  • Initiation Ceremony: G&K has a rather unique one - in order to be allowed to join the Private Military Corporation, aspiring commanders have to form their own echelon via convincing five of an 'initiation' set of T-Dolls to join them. Anyone who doesn't do so by the set deadline is kicked out.
  • Job-Stealing Robot: An omake has a hilarious scene where G36 (a robot Ninja Maid) gets into a rivalry with a Roomba. According to her sister, somehow, the Roomba is winning. And a later chapter establishes that this is canon, as Minato had to lay out traps to keep the Roomba from entering his dorm.
  • Lap Pillow: Gender-Inverted when Misato lets G36C enjoy one in his dorm.
  • Super-Powered Robot Meter Maids: Minato's first echelon includes G36 - a literal example of this, being both a elite T-Doll and a literal maid.
  • Tsundere: WA2000, in a nutshell. It's rather pronounced when she interacts with Minato, as while she berates him verbally, her Inner Monologue bemoans how she is pushing away one of her only chances to find a good commander. Minato, however, pretty much totally ignores her Tsun-Tsun tendencies (granted, he's used to them from Misato), which ends with accepting his offer to join his first echelon.
